would also like to say this.. I NEVER say "ehhh let me throw anything up just to have a rooting interest".. give it my all and always been up front that I don't play

rogers
R2 #1 tickle bunny (5-2)
drops and back in 12 days.. two back dropped and back in 12 days and solid 2nd with bad trip.. both times came out of races that were significantly faster than needed today
R3 #3 valentine guy (8-1)
R4 #12 zipporah (20-1)
I understand this is a bad post but a morning line like this tells me whoever does this has little respect for the public's ability to dig a little .. hope she does go off at that price
R5 #6 lazarella (8-1)
R6 #6 bow and arrow (8-1)
this ml high.. broberg 3rd off the layoff, even spacing between races and feel can sit a nice trip off an honest pace.. oaklawn to here a significant drop-off in talent but admittedly others in here's last race is also from there
R6 #4 drifting west (7-2..20 mtp)
R7 #4 haley's heist (4-1)
another dropper from oaklawn.. last race bad but we need a little camouflage and looks like some excuses.. possible this is a hurting horse but if not and they're OK with taking a little loss from the claim this is a good spot.. trainer excellent with new acquisitions
R8 #5 my legacy (5-1)
i think may have reacted to the big effort at oaklawn two back.. good to see him back quick.. lightly raced and very capable vs this bunch
R9 #7 inagoodway (9-2)
last time in a statebred stakes 5 starts back won at remington.. obviously this a statebred stakes today and competition much softer here.. broberg /cabrera
I think as I've stated here before the key is money management..bad streaks like that going to happen over short spells..have done quite a few scored samples in here and as a whole they haven't been bad but not great either

I had this track rated small money wise last week and did very well..but that's mainly because it is a small track..I feel more comfortable at venues like this I think then bigger ones
2 4 6 8
5 10 15 25
how about split the difference
why am I making this difficult lol..10's good

just a killer that price is cut in half after they're out of the gate.. for a few bucks it's fun but that's obviously a killer if you're doing this seriously.. OK glad you hit.. see you later

(.50)
pick 4.. $107
pick 5 ..$33k
even with a $106 horse that's pretty unbelievable

just watched race 5 at fonner..mine was 10-1 ml and I thought that was high..horse goes off at around 20-1 and finished way back or last..one thng that's tough to take when you pick in advance and watch later is horses that you picked that possibly have almost no chance to win..if I pick a mid- high single digits ml horse and he ends up going off double digits forget about it..if the horse is double digits morning line i'm more ok with it going off higher than ml odds

You really feel this way?
In ncaabb I get an edge from this playing small conferences
Is this what your getting at?
because you follow closely?
or has this become because of the lack of tracks?
i have no edge at these, nor do I even enjoy

I do ..I feel some of the core methods I use having to do with types of running lines along with horses exiting fast figure races work better with the cheapest stock..I like what I consider "chaos races" and they happen more on the lower end..vulnerable favorites, fields of inconsistent horses are the type of races I like to play..I know that sounds nuts but that's where I feel my edge us more than formful races at the bigger tracks..that's very general as I feel the same way at the big tracks(those types of races) but feel I have less of an edge there

I don't feel the need to follow a circuit or particular track..there's enough info in the pp''s to tell me what I need to know about jockeys, trainers, posts, running style biases, pedigree etc

I agree with chaos races creating bad favorites
it’s a tough game

I find open claiming races and allowance races for older horses at the big circuits very difficult..bunch of horses who are fairly consistent running within a few points of each other and i'v got to try and figure out the pace scenario..just feel the decisions I make in races like those hold no edge for me
