Yes I misspelled feedback but I can't change the title of the post. I got my ass handed to me last week. I am sitting in a bucket of ice as I type. While watching the Ducks not go over last night I noticed something. During the second period, it is a long line change for both the home and visiting teams jumping into the offensive zone. What I mean is that during a line change it is an extra 20 feet or so for each team to get their offense into the opposing teams defensive zone and for the other team it is easier to get their defense set up because they have less distance to skate. As a beer league player myself I noticed this but it doesn't make a difference because I suck anyway, but for the NHL home team who gets the last line change, this may effect the scoring in the second period. I was crunching the numbers a little on NHL.com but I figure you degenerates might have a program or something to track this.
For instance tonight the Nucks this year have done most of their scoring in the 1st and 3rd periods. So at bookmaker I can bet on Vancouver in the second period to score under 1 1/2 goals at +130. there must be slower teams that when on the road may have a harder time setting up on offense especially during a delayed penalty or a line change situation. What does everyone think about this system or am I just running my gums?
