Yeah, if you have time and access to all the games, there is massive value in smart live betting. Some of these books don't even have real people setting the live prices, their using some stat based algorithm thing. I've seen games where someone gets a lucky goal and the live price jumps off the charts. Once in a blue moon, you can catch them napping and get on something after the goal (that's why having NHL TV or Gamecentre is crucial) before they update the price. I agree, this game could go to OT. +300

I think that Wash/Carolina game is a good OT wager... Carolina is definitely LIVE at +170, they have been crushing it at home up until the Pens crushed them the other night. It might be a better idea to sprinkle on Carolina if Washington scores first since they would be around +300 at least. I think they won 14 out of their last 16 at home before that. I know they're on the road but they usually play Washington tough. Just my opinion though, loving the Leafs team total over. Good luck, everybody!

It might be a better idea to sprinkle on Carolina if Washington scores first since they would be around +300 at least. I think they won 14 out of their last 16 at home before that. That's what my book has too. I've tailed at least 4 of his totals and it hasn't screwed me yet. Maybe I should go to another book just for these bets.

Oh, absolutely... I have Center Ice up here in Canada. Same thing as Gamecentre, or NHL TV. I'm sure different providers have different names for the same thing. Anyways... totally agreed about LIVE betting. I took the Bruins at -135 against Detroit the other day, hit the Wings at +950 when they were down 3-0. Same as Pitt and Washington when Wash went up 3-0 early. Pitt was around the +1000 mark. And of course the game to go to OT is around +7 or 800 when quick goals happen.

OT for me and maybe a sprinkle on the game to go to the shootout at +1000 for the hell of it. Like I mentioned above, Carolina, before losing to the Pens won 14/16 at home and yes, I realize this game is in Washington, but also right after a road trip for the Caps. I think it will be close, either way.
