Toronto Maple Leave coach Ron Wilson told reporters, prior to tonight's tilt at the Air Canada Center with the visiting Montreal Canadiens, that his club would certainly make things rough for the visitors. Now I'll assume he was referring to possibly putting a dent in the Habs playoff chances tonight by inflicting a loss upon the Canadiens but if that was indeed the case, then he had best add a little spice into his speech during the first intermission.
Based on the early action at the A.C.C., it appears Wilson's message fell on deaf ears as Montreal scored twice before the game was ten minutes old to take a 2-0 lead. The Habs have been on somewhat of a roll lately, winning four of their past five contests and the victories couldn't have come at a better time as they try to hold on to the eighth and final playoff spot in the eastern conference.
