    NHL Saturday :
The Washington Capitals continue their West Coast road trip tonight by stopping in San Jose. The Capitals beat Anaheim
6-4 on nov. 19 before falling 5-2 in Los Angeles on nov. 20. Goalie Brent Johnson gets the start, center Sergei Fedorov might me able to return tonight after long layoff. However, The Caps will have to rebound without two of their top 3 players. Indeed, Winger Alex Semin and defenseman Mike Green will miss this game due to injuries.

San Jose is on a 3 game winning streak. Goalie Brian Boucher gets the call. The Sharks scored 16 goals in last 3 games and allowed 7 goals only. Power play is on fire.

Washington are missing some key players and playing a third game in 4 days. A big test against a good home team. The Capitals have allowed 14 goals in last 3 games and facing a team scoring at will at the moment. I like the Sharks chances. San Jose should be able to score some goals tonight.

    San Jose (-190)

The St-Louis Blues will try to win a second game in two nights at Minnesota tonight. The Blues took advantage of another undisciplined game by the Anaheim Ducks and scored 2 power plays goals. The Blues also got good goaltending by Manny Legace.

Minnesota 3 game winning streak came to an end with 3-2 home loss to Vancouver in their last game. Wild coach Jacques Lemaire didn't liked the effort and the players have skated in practice following this loss.

What we have here is some mismatches on the forwards lines. The Blues have only one true NHL center due to many injuries. They couldn't get anything going offensively last night playing 5 on 5 hockey. The Blues scored two power plays goals. Tonight they will not play a team going very often to the penalty box like Anaheim. Minnesota is the less penalized team in the NHL . I like the Wild chances, they are fresh, their coach is not happy from last effort and they have some favorable matchups going their ways. I don't see St-Louis getting the edge 5 on 5. The Blues should also send Chris Mason in goal tonight. Mason is winless in 5 decisions this year and looking for his marks. His last appearance was on nov. 12.

    Minnesota (-199)
