Any interested participants check in here. Tournament starts Aug 9. Trying to get someone from the site to respond and set something up. TT so far non responsive to PM regarding contest.
Scoring could be set up this way:
On average, roughly 70 players will make the cut.
After the cut, We can create a scoring sheet----number 1-70 (Assuming 70 is the # of players who make the cut).....
The champion will recieve 70 points
Runner-up will receive 69 points
3rd place finisher will receive 68...
Etc......
The cumulative places for each of your golfers will be added up.
Bonus Points:
If you select the Champion--- +15 points
If all 6 of your players make the cut..... 15 points
If 5 of your 6 golfers make the cut....12
If 4 of your 6 make the cut-----9
3 of 6 make the cut----6
2 of 6 make the cut----3
1 of 6 make the cut----1
If any of your players lead or are tied for the lead after the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd rounds------7 points
If any of your player make an eagle----4 points
TIEBREAKERS:
Obviously there will be multiple ties for multiple spots----if players 5-6-7, are all tied for 5th---they will receive 5th place points.
If there are 2 or more winners tied for total score, the entry with the lowest round in the Open will win.
To make it easier for someone to enter into a spreadsheet selections should be entered as follows
