****2013 SBR NASCAR Challenge**** " The Chase" (Last 10 Races)

Ok guys I received a email back this morning from the SCC guys, they are playing the nascar.com contest, because it closely resembles our game from last year in many ways, but adds other bonus points ( Manufacturer/Pit Crew/ etc.). I went to the site and was able to sign us up on the first try, I guess the reason I couldn't get thru before was because the contest didn't open till Feb 1st.

I know some of ya'll aren't that impressed with Nascar.com for your racing info, but I think ya'll will be impressed with their Fantasy Game, and it meets all our needs. One down fall is it doesn't break down into segments, so after week 16 i'll just have to score it manually like I did the last 4 years, using the weekly scores. I don't have a problem with that, and rest assured if I start this league, im committed to finishing the whole year, as I have the last 4 years.

I'd like for you guys to go there and sign up & look around. Once signed up I went to my email to acess the site. Im gonna paste the site sign up info, password, and league info. Once signed up if you guys have trouble finding Our Team look for the Join League Button. Once we agree where to play i'll start a new thread announcing the new league, have it added to Fantasy Forum so we get our extra points, and i'll go to Mike's Nascar thread and look for potential new players and send them a PM with info.

CD has to grade and run and pass out winnings every week so that's what I'm going with if he thinks its easiest for that and close to our old game.

To qualify for over all prizes our league must at least have 25 players. Then they have Top 3 getting Prizes at end + This weekly but sounds like multi winners a & then they draw for it. If remember correctly the weekly winner gets like $15-$25........

B. WEEKLY PRIZES:

At the end of each Weekly Period, the participant earning the most points for that Week from each prize-eligible League will be placed in a pool of all applicable weekly League winners. Sponsor will select one (1) Weekly prize winner at random from the pool ("Weekly Winner”). Sponsor will be responsible for the randomization of the pool and there will be no ties. Random drawings will occur on the next business day after the scoring for a Race is final. The odds of winning a Weekly prize depend on the number of prize-eligible Leagues for each Race.

even though we had 2 players finish top 100 last season on ESPN's stock car challenge...which i must admit was very impressive because of the # of people that played in it

I see drivers are up now, I hope that every week salaries will spread out so we don't have to take 2 drivers at bottom. I'll get us a new thread started tonight or tomorrow. As far as entry fee's, Im thinking 100 points per segment, we'll just start out with the 25 & 50(Optional) side bets till we get use to things. But this year I want us to have a pot for the Yearly Champion (Maybe 100 entry)??? If anyone needs time with the yearly or segment entry fee's, I'll just make a list and you can pay when you can or if you win a week.(Regular Players only). This year since we starting over, all records will be keep like Segment Winners, Yearly Champion, Highest Score ever, etc.

They need to join SBR first and build up the points, make sure it is guys you trust that won't bail.

Not like its very probable we would have any chance at all for a prize.
