I pounded WSU on the ML, but I'm pretty sure they will win comfortably unless Nick Sherry shows us something we haven't seen yet for the Rebels. Halliday fits into the Leach system a lot better than Teul does in my opinoin, so look for him to exploit the weak secondary of UNLV and jump out to an early lead. Once they get a lead it will be very difficult for UNLV to come back from behind, they don't have the fire power to hang in there for long. BOL to whatever you decide.

I was completely wrong on Notre Dame's defense. It might have been the lack of MSU offensive execution though, but how weak is the Big-10 this year. Ohio State escaped from a loss to Cal. Seems Northwestern coudl be one fo the dark horses and that is not a very strong team to be one of your top conference teams.Comment -

Research is on the site asn yes I know it is an away game. I caught it after publishing the article and even my database had it as a home game. It does not matter, matchups are still the same... I feel LA-Monroe is just way over their heads with Baylor.Comment -
I have a hard time understanding how your research can still be the same with the team being away instead of home, especially with a Baylor team that historically has trouble on the road (0-4 ATS on the road last year with a Heisman QB) and most major power rankings have a double digit differential between Baylor's home vs away ratings. I absolutely respect your handicapping, but I think revising your write up based on significantly different trends would give your pick more substance.Comment -

MSU was humiliated last week by Notre Dame. They now know in their minds that they are not a top-5 BCS type of team and may have problems even winning the Big-Ten. I think they will get caught look at EM as an inferior opponent and if they don't show up to play hard, EM is going to by quite annoying to them. Just too many points.Comment -
Definitely agree with the Florida selection.
+31 for E. Mich not so sure I love it. Obviously, you aren't enthralled with it (5* selection). I think the 31 is about right so I'm staying away. My reference pt is Mich St. vs C. Mich game 41-7 2 weeks ago. It shows even the 2nd/3rd teamers from Mich st. will run it up. This time Mich St. is at home so expect close to similar results.

YOu just pointed out a great fact. You mention that Baylor is 0-4 ATS on the road with a Heisman QB. What does that immediately reflect to you? That public over rated them based on an ATS basis. So, now, they don't have the RG3 and the public is bailing on them and playing against them. Also, teams off an OT loss are solid BET AGAINST teams. We lost the 20* last night, but sure looked ok till six seconds were remaining. A loss is a loss no matter how it occurs, but remeber with my selections that the systems, game situations, and matchups serve only to reinforce the graded play. They are not soley the reason for the play.Comment -
I like Clemson +15. Neither team has played anyone this year to prove themselves (Auburn is not a good team this year). I think you will hear a lot of Boyd to Watkins (Hopkins as well) all night. That's what I see as the key. If the Noles shut down those tandems, well I doubt the tigers will be close.Comment -
