and also note that I am losing 28-21 at the half when I have posted this..
I honestly don't need this anymore, if indeed, this was hacked. Funny how the popsters, who are always quick to blast the thread are the ones bringing attention to it. hmmmmmmm.Comment -

All I've done is try to keep accurate records; there's been no "blasting" of anyone or anything from me.
If you didn't mean me, that's fine. But you did quote me at the top of the post.Comment -

#148Just so the word is out from me first, I have resigned from writing articles for SBRforum.com. It had nothing to do with the rough ride I have endured in terms of wins and losses, but rather the huge amount of time I have given and just cannot continue to give to the production of articles. Many of you experienced the great seasons of the past few years, so hopefully this is a blip on the screen and with the added time I can do better research in handicapping games and finding complete wagering opportunities in all major sports.
I have enjoyed writing them, but find that I have several opportunities before me that I simply need time to devote to. I do hope to continue these threads and provide videos with Peter Loshak indefinitely. Peter is the best!
I will also be redeploying my own personal site: johnryansports.com, which will have links to SBRForum as well. This site will provide you with handicapping stats, data, facts, and fantasy football ideas that you are more than welcome to share on these threads too.
Thanks for all of your loyal support and contributions.Comment -

#1535* graded play on Oklahoma as they take on Notre Dame set to start at 8:00 PM ET. The simulator shows a high probability that Oklahoma will win this game by 13 or more points. Notre Dame is off to a great season, but did you know they have somehow managed to get a schedule that shows them playing only one true road game. It is has been a long time since ND has had to travel to play in Norman Oklahoma and it is one of the most passionate fan bases in the nation. Oklahoma has not hosted ND since 1966. Much has been made about the outstanding defensive play of the Irish, but the Sooner team is by far the most physcial and athletic team they have faced to date. Oklahoma has called rushing plays 28 times in goal-to-goal situations and have scored on 15 of those plays. That ranks third best in the nation and is just one example of why I see the Sooner offensive line dominating this game from beginning to end. I realize that ND has successfully defended 13 rushing palys in goal-to-goal situations without allowing a TD, which ranks best in the nation. Here again, Oklahoma has a ton of offensive weapons to go to and run dozens of plays out of the different formations that will not have showed up on game films. I will mention one significant factor that will be a major part of the Sooner blowout win. They have already been excellent in run defense, but not get the return of DT Stacy McGee, who is a monster athlete in the interior of the defensive line. Notre Dame will have a very difficult time running the ball and they become a highly inconsistent offense when made a one-dimensional passing unit. The more trouble ND has in running the ball, the greater the chances Oklahoma blows them off the field. Look at what they did to Texas in the Red River Rivalry and the possibility exists that it will happen again. Take the Sooners.Comment -

#156Ok here is today's CFB card: Again because of the Hurricane I am only going to put out as much as I can in terms of writeups and analysis.
20* Central Michigan
20* Hawaii
20* Idaho + 20 1/2 5:00 PM ET
20* LA-Monroe
20* Texas San Antonio + 30 1/2 4:00 PM ET
10* Maryland + 8 12:30 PM ET.
20* Virginia +10 1/2 12:30 PM ET.
10* USC +8 7:00 PM ET.
10* graded play on USC as they host oregon set to start at 7:00 PM ET. The simulator shows a high probability that USC will lose this game by fewer than seven points and has a very real shot at winning the game. Consider a combination bet placing a 3.5* amount using the line and a 1.5* amount using the tasty money line. Supporting this graded play is a system that has produced a record of 31-7 ATS for 82% winners since 2002. Play on home dogs of 3.5 to 10 points after gaining 125 or less rushing yards in two straight games and is now facing an opponent after outrushing opponent by 150 or more yards last game. This system has gone 12-2 ATS over the past three seasons and 24 of the 38 plays made covered the spread by seven or more points, which brings the upset bid into reality. SC QB Barkley has been pressing in recent games and he needs to just make reads and use his gifted arm and football IQ to make plays. His pressing, though is a result of inconsistency at LT, where All-American Matt Kalil played and was drafted fourth overall by the Vikings. Due to injury, SC now has a freshman at LT in Max Tuerk. He has a mean streak more typical with a defensive linebacker and finishes all plays. He will matched up against Jordan and will obviously need occasional help. however, Tuerk has excellent feet and very long arms and can move very quickly laterally, which is an absolute must against an end like Jordan. After watching him play very well against Arizona in his first start last week, I do believe that Tuerk can win this battle adn that will be a very big part to SC upsetting the Ducks tonight.Comment -

#157Western Michigan might be without their QB Alex Carder and WR Jaime Wilson.
Cardner has a significant throwing hand injury and I just don't see him playing even though he is listed as doubtful. As we know doubtful can suddenly turn to a game time decision, BUT even if he plays, it will be cold and how much grip will be be able to get on the ball and snaps could be a big problem as well.Comment -

#16710* Bowling Green +2 -110 over Ohio University.
During its five-game winning streak, Bowling Green has given up only 33 points while allowing 243.4 yards per game in total offense, including 67.2 yards per game on the ground. While winning its last five games, Bowling Green is averaging 213.6 yards rushing per game. The Falcons have scored seven rushing touchdowns in that span and in three of the four games have rushed for 200 or more yards.
Bowling Green must contain Ohio QB Tyler Tettleton to have any hope for success. “They are dynamic and explosive on offense,” Bowling Green coach Dave Clawson said of the Bobcats. “It starts with their quarterback. He is a dual-threat quarterback; he can run it, and he can throw it. His ability to make plays out of broken plays is what sets him apart.” This season, Tettleton is 150-of-244 passing for 1,800 yards with 15 touchdowns and only two interceptions. He has rushed 70 times for 207 yards and three touchdowns. Beau Blankenship, a high school teammate of Tettleton’s in Norman, Okla., is Ohio’s main running threat. A transfer from Iowa State, Blankenship has rushed 225 times for 1,097 yards and eight touchdowns.
Ohio is coming off an impressive 45-14 win and cover as a 16 point favorite against Eastern Michigan. However, they are just 1-8 ATS (-7.8 Units) after scoring 37 points or more last game over the last 2 seasons.Comment -

#169Yep, feels good to get a couple of winners. Thanks.
Thursday night.. I like the UNDER in the FSU-V-Tech game lined as 50 points -110
FSU is one of the best teams in the nation and the rankings clearly show the mismatch this game provides. FSU ranks 11th in the nation averaging 39.9 PPG and rank 8th allowing 15.0 PPG on the season. By comparison, V-Tech ranks 77th averaging just 25.2 PPG and their defense just 53rd allowing 27 PPG. Moreover, FSU ranks best in the nation averaging 7.3 YPP and seventh averaging 0.552 points-per-play. V-Tech defense ranks 50th allowing 5.3 YPP and 53rd allowing 0.368 points-per-play. Tech ranks 55th averaging 5.5 YPP and 76th averaging 0.351 points-per play. The FSU defense ranks second allowing just 3.2 YPP and 6th allowing 0.212 points-per-play.Comment -
