Five conference home games witnessed crowds of over 20,000 in attendance--Central Michigan (24,761), Temple (23,045), Ohio (21,645), Northern Illinois (21,230) and Toledo (20,048).
Eastern Michigan snapped its 18-game losing streak as the Eagles overcame a 21 point deficit on the road and defeated Ball State, 41-38 in overtime.
Ohio rushed for 258 yards and rolled up 496 yards of total offense in the victory over Akron.
After giving up 21-points and over 200 yards in the first half, Toledo held Kent State to 42 yards of offense in the second half.
