UCLA +26
UCLA has absolutely no chance in this game. They are dead last in the PAC 10 in total offense, passing offense, pass efficiency offense and their starting QB Prince is questionable for tonight's game (knee injury). They are mediocre defensively. Their defensive line is terrible having allowed 313 rushing yards to Kansas State, 211 to Stanford and 304 to Cal. Now they face an Oregon offense averaging over 550 ypg and 50 ppg. They simply have no chance. Now with all that being said, it took me all of 2 minutes to cap this game. 26 points is just too many points to give in a PAC 10 game against any team not from Pullman, Washington. Can Oregon beat UCLA by more than 26 points? Absolutely, UCLA has already lost two PAC 10 games this year by 35 & 28 points. However in the past 5 1/2 years UCLA has only been a larger dog than this in PAC 10 play one time, +33 at USC in 2008. The Bruins lost 28-7. In those same 5 1/2 years Oregon has never been favored in a PAC 10 game by more than 19 points (again, WSU not included). So it won't surprise me if Oregon lays 50 on the Bruins and beats them by 35+ points. But from a "value" perspective I'll take a shot on the team that went into Austin as 14 point dogs and beat Texas as opposed to the team that has never layed this many points in a PAC 10 game and will be playing their first game ever as the # 1 ranked team in the nation.
