SBR's Phil Wood shares his best Miami (OH) vs Buffalo player prop bets:

Henry Hesson Over 168.5 passing yards (-114 via FanDuel)

"Hesson has only appeared in three games this season, and the only time he threw for more than 168.5 yards was against Lindenwood. On Wednesday, he has to face a defense allowing just 190.5 passing yards per game, but there is actually a lot to like about Hesson’s position.

Last week, Hesson took over for Finn, who departed the Miami (OH) program. He completed just 11 of 38 passes for 147 yards and three interceptions. However, he was facing the MAC’s top pass defense, and he actually threw for more than the 143 passing yards per game it typically allows.

Hesson’s accuracy is a problem, but he’s averaging over 15 yards per completion, so he likely just needs 11 to hit this Over."

Al-Jay Henderson Under 64.5 rushing yards (-114 via FanDuel)

"Henderson has topped 64.5 yards in six of his 10 games this season. While he’s hit that mark in two of his last three games, he only rushed for 39 yards last week against Central Michigan.

Yards per carry have been an issue all season for Henderson. While he’s averaged over six yards per carry in two of his last three, he managed just three yards per carry against UMass, and he’s averaged fewer than four yards per carry four times this season. Miami (OH) is allowing just 3.9 yards per carry, and with Henderson recording 16 or fewer carries in five games this season, I worry he won’t get enough touches in a tough matchup."

Jordan Brunson Anytime TD scorer (+115 via bet365)

"Brunson has only scored twice this season, and his last touchdown came on Oct. 18. However, he’s carried the ball 111 times this season, and without Finn - who had 89 carries and four touchdowns before leaving the program - competing with him, Brunson will be the featured back in this game.

Buffalo is allowing just 3.4 yards per carry, but Brunson averaged 4.9 last week against a Toledo defense allowing just 2.5. Brunson has averaged at least 4.9 yards per carry in three of his last four, and against a defense that has allowed 11 rushing touchdowns, he’s a legitimate threat to score from anywhere on the field."

SBR's Matt Jacob has his Central Michigan vs Kent State best bets and TD picks ready to go:

Joe Labas Over 152.5 passing yards (-114 via FanDuel)

"Joe Labas shared quarterback chores with multiple teammates in the first three games of 2025. The results were predictable: Labas compiled a total of 171 yards as the Chippewas averaged just 12 points. Since taking over as the team’s primary quarterback in Week 4, Labas has had just one clunker: 72 yards against Bowling Green (a game in which he only threw four passes).

True, Labas fell short of 152 passing yards in five straight games before last week’s 247-yard effort against Buffalo. However, he hovered around that number four times (134, 138, 148, and 152). This week, the junior faces the nation’s 125th-ranked pass defense that yields nearly 270 yards per game. By comparison, Buffalo ranks 30th against the pass."

Gavin Garcia Over 38.5 rushing yards (-114 via FanDuel)

"If Kent State wants to compete in this game, the offense will have to stay on the field much longer than the shaky defense. That means controlling the clock by grinding out first downs, which means handing the ball off a lot. The Golden Flashes’ best option: senior running back Gavin Garcia, who has a team-high 107 carries and 419 yards.

Garcia is more of a bulldozer than a racecar. But he slogged his way to 39 rushing yards in last week’s overtime win over Akron, and he’s beaten that number six other times this season (including each of the last three games). Another reason to tail this Central Michigan vs. Kent State player prop: The Chippewas surrender 152.3 rush yards per contest."

Langston Lewis Anytime touchdown scorer (+150 via DraftKings)

"As already noted, Central Michigan doesn’t boast a prolific passing attack, as three quarterbacks have combined for 13 passing touchdowns. Also, no wide receiver has more than three scores. That said, quarterback Joe Labas has tossed five of his 10 scoring passes in the last two games, and two landed in the hands of Langston Lewis.

The junior wide receiver found the end zone against both Western Michigan and Buffalo, while also racking up 229 receiving yards on just 10 catches. Lewis also had a TD reception in a Week 5 win against Eastern Michigan. Now, back to Kent State’s horrendous secondary: It has allowed 23 TD passes in 10 games. Only four FBS schools have allowed more."
