    Friday: Auburn vs Baylor Predictions
It's an SEC vs Big 12 battle on Friday night as Auburn takes on Baylor at 8:00 PM ET on FOX. SBR's Mike Spector breaks down the action with his Auburn vs Baylor prediction:

Against the spread pick: Baylor +2.5 (-110 BetMGM)

Best Bet: Over 57.5 (-108 FanDuel)

"I agree with this line movement towards the Over, especially since it has cashed in seven of Baylor’s last eight season openers.

We should see another shootout in this nonconference matchup, specifically because of how hot Baylor’s offense was towards the end of last season. The Bears won six straight games after a 2-4 start and finished with 31-plus points nine times last year. The defense held the team back some, as Baylor also lost three games when scoring at least 28 points.

Baylor ranked in the top 10 last year in percentage of snaps that resulted in 20-yard gains (8.7%). And Auburn should do its part in scoring while returning receivers Malcolm Simmons and Cam Coleman, who combined for 1,049 yards and 11 touchdowns, face a poor Bears pass defense."

Best player prop bet: Sawyer Robertson Over 1.5 passing touchdowns (-154 FanDuel)

"Sawyer Robertson threw for 3,071 yards and 28 touchdowns last season and had multiple touchdown passes nine times over the final 10 games.

He is protected by four returning offensive line starters and gets back leading receivers Josh Cameron and Ashtyn Hawkins, who combined for 1,321 yards and 15 touchdowns last year.

The only thing keeping this from being a five-star play is the fact that Baylor also returns its top two running backs, who combined for 18 touchdowns and should warrant touches in the red zone."

SBR's Phillip Wood shares his best Auburn vs Baylor player prop bets:

Cam Coleman anytime TD scorer (+150 via BetMGM)

"Cam Coleman ended last season on fire, scoring six touchdowns in his final three games. Three of those scores came against Texas A&M and Alabama, two teams that were ranked in the top 15 when the Tigers played them.

Entering his sophomore season, Coleman will have a new quarterback throwing to him, as Jackson Arnold transfers in from Oklahoma. While there will undoubtedly be growing pains with Arnold, who only averaged 5.7 yards per attempt last year, the Bears gave up over three touchdowns per game last season, so there will be opportunities."

Damari Alston Over 51.5 rushing yards (-114 via FanDuel)

"With Jarquez Hunter off to the NFL, Damari Alston is the lead back for Auburn entering the season. Last year, he carried the ball only 52 times, but he averaged 5.3 yards per carry. And while he’ll be competing with Jeremiah Cobb for touches, he nearly doubled the amount Cobb received last year.

Alston starts the season with a great matchup against a defense that allowed 156.6 rushing yards per game last year, which ranked 70th in the nation. As always, it’s a new season, so the Bears’ run defense could be better, but to me, Alston is being undervalued in this matchup."

Sawyer Robertson Under 247.5 passing yards (-114 via FanDuel)

"Last season, Sawyer Robertson threw for 3,071 yards, 28 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. However, he was far from guaranteed to have a big game when he stepped on the field. Against Houston, he threw for just 204 yards and three interceptions, and against Colorado, he managed just 148 yards.

The reason I highlight these two games is that both defenses finished in the top 30 in passing yards allowed per game last year. And while the Tigers were slightly worse, they allowed just 213.8 passing yards per game, playing most of their games against solid SEC offenses.

Robertson hit this Over in seven games last season, but this is the type of defense that could rattle him."
