2009 SEC Football Predictions: Can Anybody Beat Florida?
Last season the Florida Gators won their second National Championship in three years. Will the Florida Gators win the SEC again? Who is their toughest competition? These are my predictions for the SEC football season in 2009

Would you like to explain this post. It makes no sense what-so-ever. Isn't it just a tad late to be predicting things now?

      I think he means 2010.

If Urban Meyer leaves, then they will suck. But that shouldn't happen since he would be demoting himself.

My company and I do a lot of research for many of the football mags that people buy and read. We will be starting right after New Years. I can tell youright now that Florida will be in the N.C. hunt once again. We also expect a lot of improvment from Georgia and Tennessee. For the most part, the SEC is very young this year, and should be a real powerhouse next year. We also like USC to return to their old ways, expecially with their schedule. While they play 7 away games (we, as alums, love the trip to Hawaii to Start the season), Minny replaces Ohio State on the schedule, and USC gets Notre Dame, Oregon, and Cal at home. We also see a lot of improvemnt for the ACC, because they are so young. Ga. Tech, Miami and UNC should be very tough. On the down side, we see the senior laden Big 10 and Big 12 having rather down seasons. But this is just a guess at this point.

Question is...which Oregon team will beat Usc again next year? Trip to Corvallis maybe?? As far as the SEC next season...Yes I'm a bit biased as a Tuscaloosa alumnus but I see Bama repeating in the West and most likely Tennessee in the East.

Have you been drinking??? Tennessee will lose a lot of talent this year. The cupboard is bare. They will most likely have a worse season then this year. I expect them to be 4th in the East behind UF, UGA and USC. What makes you think UT

Wow, you guys obviously don't keep up with college football. Why not take a few minutes and go to UT scout forum boards or Volnation and ask them what do they think about next year...

Oh, let me just paste what their recruiting classes look like...

                  4* that didn't/rarely played-4
                  3* that didn't/rarely played-16
                  2* that didn't/rarely played-2

                  5* that contributed significantly-4
                  4* that contributed significantly-12
                  3* that contributed significantly-24
                  2* that contributed significantly-3

Out of the 6 5*'s Kiffin recruited 2 of them. 2 of Fulmers' rarely played.

Out of 16 4*'s Kiffin recruited 6 of them. 3 of Kiffin's recruits redshirted. 1 of Fulmer's rarely played.

Out of 40 3*'s Kiffin recruited 9 of them. 5 of them redshirted. That means Fulmer recruited 31 of them. 21 out of that 31 played significantly this season.

Out of 3 2*'s Kiffin recruited 0. 2 of those are kickers. Our ST's sucked this year. 1 of them is supposedly going to end up pretty good.

So basically, Fulmer left us with a few good plays and the rest mediocre. To all of those people who will say that some 3*'s end up better. Well yeah, there is a whole lot more 3*'s to end up being better than there are 4*'s. There are only 250 players a year that are 4-5*'s. There are probably more than 500 (guess, maybe more) 3*'s.

So with this information it will prove to all of the Fulmerites that Fulmer really did leave the cupboard pretty bare and that Kiffin did a fantastic job with what he had.

I hope UT goes 0-12 every year so I really don't give a shit. I do feel they will be equal if not improved next year.
