For all of you Alabama haters in here (and I know there are many), the news only gets worse for 2019. The Tide only lose 4 starters on offenese and just two on defense. Now this can change after the Championship game, but if you think the Tide is going to lose a bunch of players, that is not going to happen.
To make matters worse, the Tide's 2019 schedule is, if anything, easier than the 2018 schedule. Their toughest non-con game is in Atlanta (where else) against Duke. Their other 4 games away from home are at South Carolina, at Texas A&M (the week after one of their two their bye weeks), at Mississippi State (who loses 7 starters on defense) and at Auburn, who is in a constant state of disarray. By the way, their second bye week comes the week before their games against LSU. Pencil them in as the #1 team starting the 2019 season.
Other teams that will receive some ink are Clemson, who loses a lot on defense, Michigan, though they lose 6 starters on defense, Ohio State, depending on what Haskins does (they could be #2), Oregon, who returns their entire offense and 7 defensive starters, but who has a tough away schedule (Auburn in Dallas, Washington, Stanford, and USC), OU and Texas of the Big 12 and SEC powers Georgia and LSU.
