Who Do You Like To Be An Upset Division Winner
It is getting to be that time of year. All of the preseason rags are out, and for the most part, they all basically pick the same teams to win each Division. I thought it would be interesting to see which teams all of you give a chance to pull the upset and win their respective Divisions. Here are the consensus Division Champs for the Power 5 Conferences:

ACC Atlantic: Florida State. Coastal: Miami.

Big 10: East: Ohio State. West: Wisconsin.

    Big 12: Oklahoma.

Pac 12 North: Washington. South: USC.

    SEC East: Georgia. West: Alabama.

Please do not use any of those teams in your predictions. I am just looking for teams that could be upset winners. Here is my list:

ACC Atlantic: Clemson. Coastal: Va. Tech.

Big 10 East: Penn State. West: Nebraska.

    Big 12: Oklahoma State.

Pac 12 North: Stanford. South: Colorado.

    SEC East: Tennessee. West: Auburn.

    Who do you guys have?

Hard to argue those. Would take Florida over Tennessee. Could get really ballsy and go Texas and Georgia Tech

Florida just lost their #1 DB. I do not know of the offense can make up for the lack of defense at the beginning of the season. The Michigan game will tell us a lot.

I am throwing in West Virginia as alternative pick.

West Virginia has some major work to do on defense, especially on the line, if they want to contend. Their non-con game against Va. Tech could set the tone for the season. West Virginia will score points. The question is how many points will they give up?

When it comes to WV's D, I don't know how they will fare.

As for VT, I have been reading some good things about this team.

You have a few posts laying out different topics on several conferences.

I hope to see some continued coverage on the PAC 12 during the season. I know very little about the west coast teams.

I tend to limit my wagers on the PAC 12. Fun as hell to watch.

The Pac 12 is in a transition period. The new kids on the block (Oregon, Utah, Colorado) are all coming back to earth and the traditional powers (Washington and USC) are starting to flex their muscles now. I was reading one of the preseason rags and they have 3 Pac 12 South teams at 7-5, the two Arizona teams at 5-7, and USC at 11-2. The North is a little more spread out. What is interesting is that the Pac 12 teams each play three non-con games. The north teams are picked to go 15-3 and the South teams 17-1. The one loss? UCLA losing their home opener to Texas A&M.
