Assuming Baylor and FSU hold on for the win, you'll have six legitimate teams deserving of a top 4 ranking. Obviously somebody is going to get snubbed... which is what these "playoffs" were designed to avoid.
Although it's an improvement over the former system, it's a misnomer to even call it the playoffs when we all know it's really just one additional game. Now you have the committee's nightmare scenario unfolding, where FSU may narrowly escape once again, Baylor and TCU continue to look dominant, and Ohio St. absolutely smokes Wisconsin with what is essentially a third string quarterback.
Although this format keeps college football abuzz with intrigue, you probably need a six team eight team playoff to put the kibosh on this nonsense. Then, nobody gets left out. If you're the unfortunate team who finishes ninth in the poll, tough cookies... you gotta draw the line somewhere.
