CFB National Championship = Big Money
ESPN will pay $7.2 billion for the rights to televise the entire CFB national championship package. The conferences and ESPN worked out a 12-year deal based on a four-team playoff format. So it appears to be locked in for twelve years, even though the structure is there to grow.

So, where does all the money go? About 85 percent of it will go to the Big Five conferences. The other five conferences will split the rest, but don't feel too badly for them. Most will be making about five times the amount they made with the BCS.

The first season the simi-finals will be in the Rose and Sugar bowls on January 1, 2015. The Rose will kickoff around 5 p.m. EST. The Sugar will follow around 8:30 p.m. The championship game in Texas (Cowboy Stadium) will be played January 12 with kickoff at 8:30. The championship game will always be played on a Monday, at least a week after the simi-finals.

OK, I'll climb out on an early projection: OHIO STATE vs ALABAMA will play in Dallas for the 2013 National title.

My "guess"...what's your take on who plays for the title?

I think Ohio State will not have any trouble at all making it there, they are the clear favorite in the BIG 10. The SEC on the other hand is a little more up in the AIR, I know BAMA is a favorite but I think their time has come to be dethroned in the SEC.
      GEORGIA'S TURN!!!

Just a personal opinion, this doesn't mean I will be betting against Alabama when the season comes....

Gameday, last year my early picks for the title game were Georgia and Oregon. We both know Georgia was just a play away from making the championship game and little doubt they would have beaten Notre Dame.

The Dawgs offense should be one of the best in Georgia history with all those starters (10) coming back. One of the best quarterbacks in the conference and the best running back in the SEC (my opinion). Defense is where the rub comes in. Georgia only returns 3 starters on that side of the ball. Hard to win in the SEC without a standout defense.

I do think if Georgia can beat South Carolina early on...then they have as good of a chance to win the East as anyone else.
