Hate to say it but I have to disagree with you on the Kampmann/Story fight. My write-up for this fight is on my MMA picks thread...I don't think people are giving Story enough credit. Beating Hendricks and Alves in a row is quite an accomplishment. Putting his fight with Brenneman aside, I Story has really been able to utilize his grappling first gameplan quite successfully. I will even go as far as to suggest he may finish this fight inside the distance by some sort of choke...Agree. I've noticed a trend through a bunch of threads that we share a lot of the same opinions on fights. I don't think I've ever disagreed with anything I've seen you say.
Here are my picks for 139. I should make my own thread to log this stuff, but I figure I'm not good enough at capping to be influencing anyone. Meh.. here we go.

Faber is my biggest play and he'll make or break the night. Bowles hasn't looked good in either of his UFC fights. I think Faber is better at everything and the price on him is a great.
I lean Kampmann because he's so technically sound and well rounded. His slow starts are a little worrying but I can't see Story beating Kampmann any other way than cage stalling ala Alves. I think Kampmann's grappling is too good for Story to be able to dictate the fight.
I'm don't really like Silva, I just need that action! lol. The deciding factor for me was simply experience. Silva has been in the cage with the best and Le is relatively inexperienced in MMA. Le throws loads of kicks with straight punches, compared to Silva's mostly wild looping strikes. Le's style looks awkward at times and I'm curious to see how he'll stack up against more relevant fighters. I'll take a wild guess and say I think Wand tags Le with a clean counter hook and drops him for the TKO... but I wouldn't be surprised if Le put the lights out with any solid connection.. I don't think it will be a kick though.
Might go bigger on Hendo.
I don't think I've ever liked so many underdogs in an event.. I'm a little worried

As much as the Brenneman loss looks bad, I still look at Story as the guy who went undefeated in his previous six fights against some legit competition. That sort of tremendous consistency against some high level fighters makes that loss to Charlie seem fluke-ish. Expect to see the Story that smothered Hendricks, Foster and Alves show up tonight in such a big fight that he has prepared for months in advance.
Kampmann has a ton of talent (I consider him a very underrated fighter), but seems to have less of a knack for securing decisions and wins as compared to Story who usually wins decisively. Look at the Sanchez and Shields fights. Puts on a great performance in both fights but just doesn't do enough to make the judges favor him. Alot of it has to do with his style of fighting, and how judges tend to favor grapplers more than strikers/BJJ guys
This fight may be hotly contested, but Story's style of octagon control and grappling first will probably be enough to secure and edge out close rounds in the judges eyes. If Kampmann wins it will most likely be by submission, perhaps a guillotine but I like my odds that Story rides out a decision.

truthfully,if i`m actually a fan of any mma fighter(i hate using the term "fan"),it would be kampmann....i love the fact that`s he`s proficient everywhere...it`s just a damned shame that he doesn`t have the fight i.q. to go along with his complete skillset....
i have a small kampmann wager pending at +120....but i`m strongly considering overbetting story via decision at a little better than +1.5......i can picture story grinding kampmann against the fence and finally taking him down and stalling for long periods on the mat...Comment -
