I almost went with Bader against JBJ until I read this guys take on the fight. That was the card where he picked every fight correctly but one.

I think JDS will only pull a sub off his back. I don't see him dropping Carwin with punches and then going for a sub. If he connects on Carwin he will be looking to finish with a knockout.

IF Carwin happens to gas again late in the fight... I certainly can see JDS subbing him, considering Brock had no problem. Decent play.

I played my first full card last wknd and ignored the 2 picks a friend gave me (which cashed) while following someone else. Let's just say it wasn't pretty.

Going to check out the SBR article for this wknd. I look at the articles for everything else but completely forgot to do so for MMA. I would've killed for 7/10.

How can you find out his past record?

I tried looking under 'fight card' to see if it listed the last of his whole card picks, but can't find them...

I disagree with a lot of his picks on this one, though. I was reading some of the preview and breakdown articles from past events. He seems pretty solid!

dude... the reality is favourites are killing it right now in mma.

ufc 131 there were only two upsets, and everyone thought one was a robbery
ufc 130 there was only one real upset (story), or 2 if you call johnson/torres an upset which was practically even odds.
ufc 129 there was only one real upset (garza), or 3 if you count jmac/jensen and matyushenko/brilz which were practically even odds fights.
ufc 128 there was only one upset (pyle)

Tattan is picking Leben by KO over Wanderlei...which is fine. But he's saying Leben will have an advantage on the ground and that the fight will be toe-toe.

I disagree with both of them, particular with the former remark. Wanderlei has better BJJ but has just never looked to use it and he showed against Bisping that he's mixing things up more now and looking for takedowns. He's been working with Munoz on his wrestling, I think Wanderlei has the intention of taking Leben down and submitting him. Afterall, Leben was choked out easily by a very green Jake Rosholt in first round of their fight so I dont see why Wanderlei can't sub him. ALso Tattan is saying Leben came out as dog, he actually came out as the favourite.

The only underdogs that stuck out for me this year is Siver defeating Sotiropoulos and Story defeating Alves.

Maybe on Bodog, but they weren't the first to open the lines. 5dimes and Sportbet opened the lines and had Wanderlei at +140....I've got 6 units on Wanderlei at +120!
