that fight nobody was really throwing any output it was just 2 counter fighters moving around throwing feints and barely connection on anything .... basically a 50/50 fight maybe slightly trinaldo for the pressure.. but hometown judges in a close fight you gotta think hernandez was getting it
Trinaldo "pressure" was bull shit. He moved in to range but rarely threw anything then would but his hands up trying to goat Hernendez into throwing when he was simply trying to counter the whole time as well. If anything, Hernedez initiated more action with the grappling exchanged (not saying he was effective). Trinaldo landed like one quality strike the whole fight and people seem to think robbery. It was a close fight. No one took the victory.

Sometimes the ref's got no choice but to save a fighter from themselves. Couldn't let Adams continue to take all those unanswered strikes to the head.

Not a bad night. About 5.5u win. Not sure how I feel about the Adams/Hardy stoppage. Only watched once real quick. Also feel like I had a shot with Aldana but that decision was probably right. Aldana just too scared to commit like she needs to. Oh well, all around solid night.

bull. Trinaldo was hurting Hernandez bad. He advanced constantly while all Hernandez did was run around trying not to fight and a couple times try to tackle him which failed every time. Trinaldo won that fight, it was a hometown fix job for the up and comer. Hernandez is a chicken.

Jon Anik and Megan Olivi break down how Leon Edwards beat Rafael dos Anjos at UFC Fight Night in San Antonio. Anik says Edwards is a well-rounded fighter and his speed was too much for dos Anjos. Olivi expects Edwards to have a lot of attention on him after this victory, and Anik says Edwards calling out Jorge Masvidal shows his confidence moving forward. Anik says Greg Hardy "romped" Juan Adams and proved he's capable of finishing opponents early. Olivi explains that Walt Harris made a huge statement by defeating Aleksei Oleinik. Anik gives high praise to Andrei Arlovski, saying he looked better than he has ever seen him.

One judge had Peterson losing every round. Peterson totally dominated on the ground in the first round and almost chocked him out and had more strikes landed in the other two rounds.

Edwards is a dog. Dude fought the perfect fight and showed how well rounded his game is. He just beat RDA handily. He would give masvidal problems. Those technical strikers that slow the fight down and fight a smart methodical fight give Jorge problems. Definitely not a good matchup for Jorge especially if he wants that title shot.

imo edwards beats masvidal clear cut decision... too fast and long for him
Masvidal has 2 nice wins where he landed a big shot but people forget he just lost 2 in a row before that.. hes not some elite fighter with a record of 34-13... i think Edwards is a legit elite top 3/5 talent who could win a belt , being only 27 years old and improving every fight... his TDD last night looked great

I think his ceiling is losing a close-ish decision to Usman in a title fight. Totally agreed on him fighting Masvidal. I think that's the fight to make.

As far as the Trinaldo fight...everyone on the planet-INCLUDING HERNANDEZ---knows he lost the fight......the announcer hit the nail on the head.....his coaches LOST him that fight IMO....they saw him overaggressive in 1 fight and lose---so they decided to TRY to turn him into a counter fighter....obv trinaldo expected to counter an aggressive fighter....but when Hernandez took the back seat.....he lost himself the fight and was not aggressive at all.....guy fought scared and dumb and
    some idiot judges
gave him the nod....it was not even close IMO....30-27 Trinaldo EDGING every round....

I rewatched it and had to laugh...LOL...what were they watching
