UFC Fight Night: Manuwa vs. Anderson (March 18, 2017)

So this got next where do we start with this card?... Hmmmm? Couple fights I can comment on now.. No need to even cap these 2...

Gunnar Nelson by sub if he can take down Alan Jouban.. Not a given though as Jouban is not that easy to take down and keep down...

Cory Anderson by Decision if he doesn't get knocked out standing by Manuwa first.. Cory Anderson has the wrestling advantage clearly over Manuwa.. Take downs for Cory should be there.

Have you taken into account the difficulty Anderson will have in getting a decision in London? London judges pretty notorious in tilting very heavily for home town talent. Examples: Any Bisping fight in England starting with that deaf guy who beat him up and lost, and ending with the Silva and Hendo fights where he ended up in the hospital with more W's on his record. Watching the Hendo fight it's obvious fix is in, as Hendo working Bisping over, while going into the last round even the commentators are interjecting how badly Hendo needs to finish in order to win. As if Bisping was in any way dominating at that point. My money is on Manuwa if Anderson can't finish. Can't fade them euro judges.

These fights are so hard to cap. I was most interested in the odds for Manuwa/Anderson and Nelson/Jouban.
I don't have time to give all my reasons, but I'm picking Manuwa by T(KO) in the fourth round and Jouban by decision. Nelson is a better fighter, but his output is going to be lower and Jouban is going to be hard to put away. At +240, it's worth it to me to take a shot. Might hedge with Nelson by sub, but I doubt the odds are right.
