happy they gave it to rockhold though, was getting concerned gastelum would get it...

rockhold still the best 185er on the planet for me.... but this is his hardest matchup at 185 imo

      that's such bs

bisping is an idiot for losing to GSP and now can't even make my money back cause GSP won't fight whittaker. And yeah, robert vs luke isn't something I want to bet. Going to be an awesome fight but flip a coin.

supposedly pacquaio and conor are in talks for a fight.

Horrendous scoring on that Invicta Main Event jesus. Thought Aga very clearly won the first three rounds, Maia won R4 and R5 was close. All 3 judges had it 49-46 Maia which is crazy.

Yep, I thought the title should've changed hands.

Bloody Elbow gave me the opportunity to write a bit about who I think fighters from the Winnipeg card should fight next. If you wouldn't mind taking a look at what I wrote and letting me know what you think, I'd really appreciate it.

Nice stuff Hugo! Thanks for the shoutout.

Hard to argue with anything you wrote on there. Perry/Jingliang would be a hell of a brawl and actually seems like a sensible fight to make. I think I would take Perry get the KO. Eventually Jingliang is gonna take a KO loss.

O'Malley vs Soukhamthath scheduled? Hmmmmm... me thinks O'Malley better find himself some physical strength. I don't love this matchup for him.

New odds for a potenial McGregor Khabib match

                                          Khabib -260
                                          McGregor +180

I believe khabib was -220 against ferguson. I think that gets bumped up to -300 at least

I like your list. 100% with you on Suarez, Zabit, Gillespie, and Reyes.

I do like Willis but I'm not 100% yet. Don't think he's fought even remotely decent competition.

Fair enough. I like that he has decent wrestling and some power with surprisingly fast hands but there aren't a ton of great HW prospects. Is there anyone you like better at HW? What do you think about some of the others on the list?

Really not that crazy, if they rebook the fight with Eddie and Poirier wins he'd be behind Conor (arguably a paper champ), Ferguson and Khabib (who seem highly likely to fight eachother in the next 6 months). If Conor never fights again/gets stripped and Khabib-Ferg happens Dustin could get a title shot before the end of the year.

The other top guys in that division really aren't that close to title shots except for maybe Alvarez, but I think he needs another strong win or two since he got wrecked by Conor.

It’s not unfathomable that he will become champion one day but I think his chin may hold him back against elite LWs. That said, Poirier has an excellent skillset with solid power and technique as well as an underrated offensive wrestling game. I see him as an elite gatekeeper a la 2016 Cerrone.
