People forget that less than a year ago Kevin Lee was rocked badly in round 1 vs Trinaldo and had to survive until round 2 where he only started getting the better because of his cardio. Kevin Lee is more vulnerable on the feet than Khabib IMO only because Khabib seems to walk through strikes like they're nothing while Lee has been hurt before. Lee is more dangerous on the feet than Khabib but it's not gonna be where he wants to fight Barboza. Lee is also not as dominant as Khabib with his TDs and GnP. Seems like a lot of people look at this Lee/Barboza matchup as the exact same as Khabib/Barboza. I think Lee is more vulnerable on the feet and will have to contend more there than Khabib did.

Conor at -750 vs Floyd on 5D is absolutely insane. You have to give Conor at least a 95% chance of winning. If I was more confident this fight was happening, I would probably throw Conor in some parlays.

I don't think it's likely Khabib just became some sort of terminator that can just walk through damage. More likely is that he knew that Barboza has a hard time fighting off his back foot. Ferguson really pressured Barboza in their fight and it actually resulted in Barboza shooting a takedown on Tony. He got reversed trying that with a beautiful underhook sacrifice throw. Check out this video for a breakdown:
Later on, Dariush would do the exact same thing to Barboza and even have more success on the feet than Tony, since Dariush was also threatening with takedowns. He was a few seconds short of getting to the 3rd round up 2 rounds on Barboza. Unfortunately, his TD lacked variety which allowed Barboza to time that knee.

Khabib was able to have even more success because he stayed in his Barboza's face consistently and Barboza was so concerned about getting taken down that he was fine keeping his hands low and eating some punches.

Lee can probably do the same thing. His striking looked improved against Tony, and he showed how strong he was on the ground. Of course he can get hit with something coming in, but if he feints and mixes up his attacks, he won't be as easy to time as Dariush was (and even that took perfect timing).

I don't necessarily think you have to equate the Lee/Barboza and Khabib/Barboza matchups in order to think Lee may have some value here. The line for these two matchups are very different. Lee is a different fighter from Khabib and presents a different stylistic matchup for Barboza. Ultimately, I really like the fact that Lee is only 25 years old and still has the ability to add to and improve his game, while Barboza has been through the ringer against some beasts and is 32 years old and stagnating a bit. Barboza is tough as nails but I think he has had difficulty with elite fighters that are able to maintain a pressure and a pace of fighting that Barboza is uncomfortable with. Barboza has generally had success against fighters that are willing to "play his game" and exchange in kickboxing range (Pettis and Felder come to mind). Lee's resume is underrated, and the sub loss to Ferguson was a bad look in the eyes of the betting public. I'm hoping Lee's ML eventually gets to plus money, but that is probably wishful thinking.

"Insane" might be a bit strong.

Even if the fight happens a year from now, the -750 wager would yield you 13% profit, which you might as well call "interest."

You want to loan an online casino money for a year or more for (at most) 13% interest?

Everyone will be entertained by Nate Diaz' response to being kicked in the leg a million times.

Nate Diaz loves being kicked in the leg. Look at how much he enjoyed it when he fought Conor and RDA.

Third episode of UFC connected. This one was basically a flashback to recent fightnight in London.

Heavy focus on UK fighters until now. Hope they add other regions in next episodes.
