Diego's recent run in the UFC has been god awful, the guy has taken a ton of abuse and is declining fast. His fight with Melendez was arguably the biggest one sided beatdown to be called a "classic" that I have ever seen, he got his ass handed to him.

If Diego wins here, it is because it is in Texas and he shows enough aggression to somehow win the wonky judges over.

Diego looks to be in good form. I dont think he is in decline. I think he was before but he has been looking better recently. He is in much better shape than he was at 170.

Even when he was at 170 he still managed to win a decision over kampmann. I thought he lost the third round which the judge gave him but he still managed to get it. He won the third round against ellenberger fair and square. He also quite fairly beat paulo thiago. He lost a lopsided decision to hathaway but i think he might have been on the bottle for that training camp. Anyway you look at his performances you have to take into consideration that he was fighting the top guys of a weightclass above him. On top of that was probably only fighting at 170 so he could be fat and not train as hard.

His fight with gomi was close. Maybe he lost but it was close. He also lost to melendez, but so would 50 other lightweights. How many of those 50 would almost have finished gil.

I see diego looking a lot better for this fight mentally and physically and getting the win. For the record i think jury is good but im not sure he can handle diegos aggression.

Funny story about that fight. When the fight was over, I PM'd someone "Anything but 30-27 Gomi is a crime", went into the event thread expecting idiots to think Sanchez had won, and the first post I read was Nunya saying "Anything but 30-27 Gomi is a crime", and a lot of people seemed to agree with us; I didn't think it was very close.

I think the same people that are laying money on Diego so confidently are the people that would take Hendricks over GSP in that same fight.. Not my cup of tea..This is MMA not body building and theatre. Anyone like the over 2.5rds in the Jury-Sanchez fight? Juice is quite high though..

Also definitely worth a look OSP vs Krylov. I will gladly lay a medium sized bet after seeing Krylov TKO Walt Harris. I predict Krylov is the Dark Horse of this card just like his last card. He has an awesome submission game that we havent really seen yet. I see OSP getting caught in a sub

I'm thinking of a small play on story but gastellum somehow always finds a way to win and I see it happening again so I will stay away.

The absolute guaranteed lock of this card is Scoggins at -500 its a gimme if you are willing to lay big juice.
