Surprised more people aren't on Crusher. His takedowns are still pretty good. MD who are you on in this match?

Ron Paul talking about JMMA and hyping up Sara McMann. What a crazy world we live in.

Also been wanting Tatsuya in the UFC for quite some time now.. i just can´t help to think it might be a little late for him at 35 to debut against a guy who is really looking good on the tape i watched, undefeated, and training with a guy who KOed him.. granted Sorianos experience is no where Kawajiris, and yea he also beat Josh Thomson, which is impressive, but at a time, where Japaneese fighters were getting alot of short notice fights, and i always speculated alot of Japan guys knowing of the matchups like 10 weeks in advance, where Thomson took it on 2-3 weeks notice, it also looks like Thomson has a knee injury in that fight (first round with a knee wrap, took it off entering the second) So i dunno man.. i can see the upset here. But short notice for soriano too, so.. im not overly fond of a bet here..

He also cuts alot of weight. But looked ok on the scale today..

You like Kawajiri to grind out another lay n pray DEC, cause i think its gonna be pretty hard to stop Soriano with a sub, and i would think the striking is pretty even.

yeah Thomson went through a spell where he fought a couple of times with injuries and when his camp had told him to pull out - Cavalcante and Kawajiri fights

Good fight for Stungun. Will of been almost a year and half since Hathaway last fought wont it? And his last fight was a walk in the park against Maguire where he didnt have to get out of 2nd gear - guy was so fresh after the fight that he just threw a shirt on and came and up about 15 mins later and sat almost next to me in stands and we had a nice chat about the the only casino in Nottingham which he was planning on heading to after the event!

Add in the fact that it's in Asia so will aid Stungun as wont have to deal with travelling, jetlag etc... and Hathaway's ongoing issues with his bowels (Ulcerative colitis - Wannabet will be able to offer more insight on this condition im sure!) makes it hard for him to stay in a good condition and have decent training camps. The condition often flares up when he starts training hard and alters his diet.

Finally regardless of health or location, it's just stylistically not great for Hathaway IMO. Usually he has a size and reach advantage which has helped him a lot in fights against guys like Story, Canchez, McCray, and Maguire where he used is length to good effect...not gonna have that in this one. And he's fighting a guy that is great at trips and bodylock takedowns - something that he struggled with against Pyle. Shouldnt also forget that he only scraped past McCray as well and was taken down a few times. Aside from his knees which are pretty good, he doesn't really offer a knockout threat neither.

Regardless, I wouldnt be surprised if Hathaway has to pull out of it come February
