Healy's striking is mediocre though and lacks power

I expect a high pace fight lots of clinching dirty boxing and generally mixed up striking, i don't expect it to be a boxing match or a technical kickboxing match but a wrestling grinding dirty boxing high paced fight where random punches/knees can land. I think if it hits the ground regardless if khabib is on top or bottom he's going to have the advantage because he has a tricky highly active guard. I think it will be a grueling fight if it ends up being 3 rounds but it should be exciting Pat Healy has a great chin but Khabib's chin hasn't been tested yet.

I dont doubt Jone's reach/wingspan but Alexander's could be off. He could've told the ufc something to gain an advantage. I agree Jones has larger shoulders so a bigger wingspan. But I think the arm are dang near close. And for boxing that is what matters. I dont see how having wider shoulders is an advantage striking. With Alexander being one inch taller. I would give him the reach advtange striking. Jones the reach advantage on the ground or standing submissions.

Gusmao was only supposed to win in the bookmakers eye. The public bet Jones early and often.

there is a good picture of these guys side by side. Gus is taller and has almost the same arm length. Jones does have wider shoulders. Legs it's not even close Gus looks like he has athelete legs and Jones legs look like some computer nerds.

I never make excuses for my losses, because excuses are -EV. A play is either +EV or -EV, if I think that it's -EV (as with Hall, which was ridiculously -EV), then I'll freely say that it was a terrible bet.
