I like condit here. I don't think Martin can out wrestle him.

Oh, Kampmann can get Condit down, I'm very confident about that. Can he hold him down, though? I don't think so. Especially not for five rounds. I don't know if Kampmann will slow down, but I do think it'll either be a Condit KO, or it's going to a decision. No reason to think Condit won't have a cardio edge though, he never slows.

Yes that's what I meant for five rounds

Kampmann has underrated wrestling. Story fight proves it

yep, Kampmann can take him down, but good to know that Condit has specifically been focusing on wrestling since those GSP and Hendricks losses. I think he's realised (especially after that close decision loss to Hendricks) that he cant rely on sweeps and and attacking from bottom and that it's not conducive to getting the nod from judges...in past he's almost let opponents take him down because he's so confident off his back, and also likes to latch on with the kimuras and reverse position.

Condit is bigger and stronger than he was in the previous fight, and you have to give him the edge with toughness and cardio. A lot harder to imagine Kampmann finishing Condit than vice-versa

I don't know condit has finished some tough dudes
hardy Kim and rory never were finished if I recall correctly
kampmann has taken some beatings with Alves and Hendricks and is tagged rather often

yeah that's why I think Condit has much higher chance of finishing Kampmann than Kampmann does of finishing him. Kampmann doesnt have that one punch power really, he finished Ellenberger with knees but gonna be much hard to do that against Condit who is 2 inches taller
