Made a little recreational play on Rigo at +200 I think. I'll slightly be rooting for Nonito, just because I think he's on the cusp of grazing the fringe of mainstream consciousness and that's good for the sport. But if Rigo wins, free lunch! I think he'll have a good chance if he can find a way to get some extra work in.
This is my favorite kind of fight. It's going to be a high level tactical battle with devastating power in play. It could be a really intense affair for the thinking fan, or even for the ape majority. Really, just want to enjoy this one.

Agreed. I only wish it were not on during the TUF finale.
Seems the consensus is on Rigo though, heres to all of us winning.

rigo will probably be the most gifted/talented fighter donaire has seen.....there is the potential for problems for the flash....but i could also see him walking through rigo.....rigo might not be able to withstand donaire...at the same time every once in awhile we see a talented, come forward, figther get eaten by a slick southpaw...i would never compare donaire to cotto....but we saw him get eaten by a slick southpaw....potentially though it could be similar......although i still like donaire in this one

Nonito in his usual fashion/ semi dominating performance. Next man up for Donaire faces the same fate as all the rest. Far too much of a step up in class for Rigo, he has faced no one near Donaire and should get pushed around the ring pretty easily.

Been looking forward to this one. Laying off but thinking Donaire by decision is the play.
Rigo's definitely live but he's gonna have to get out of his comfort zone and be aggressive offensively. Otherwise his only real chance to win is stopping Nonito.

I had some money on Donaire, and I thought those score cards were ridiculous. Donaire won two rounds, max, I thought.

You can't be serious? I thought Rigo killed him, easily. Apparently I'm not the best judge though, as I thought Kelvin squeaked the second round against Hall for his more sustained offence. Everyone but Sac seems to disagree.
Glad to see you do well brother. Viva Grabaka.

Me too....But i mean even the draw went down to just +160 on betfair....that alone tells you how crooked is this sport. I was super nervous still althought i agree with you on the scorecards...

Boxing is and always has been rigged when it gets to the score cards, so you got to smash the other guy BEFORE that happens. It also seems to get to scorecards frequently, when these guys clench up every 5 seconds. I really miss the days when Tyson and Lennox Lewis would just bash people's brains in. I agree with Teddy Atlas that boxing can be a truly beautiful thing and I really do love boxing. I also agree with him that it can be a damn shame when it goes to the cards and you get stupid ass draws and the clear winner getting robbed (I didn't see tonight's fight so I am not necessarily referring to this fight). It sucks when people pay up to $90 dollars to see a damn draw.

Great show by Rigo. Wouldn't have forecasted Donaire being shut down completely in a million years.
Kinda sad the close cards didn't surprise me...
