The way i understand the rules ( just went over them again) even if the knee is attempted and misses it should be called a knee to a grounded opponents head . Shot 1 CLEARLY making contact to Mieshas head granted just the hair but I would guess this is considered part of the head, the intent is there and it is an illegal shot and contact already being made. Hm not sure about that man, ref displayed some really bad judgement in this fight a couple times. In real time tough to tell, I think once you slow it down pretty clear knee is landing when a fingertip is till touching the mat. We all know Winslow has always been very suspect, this one really still is up for debate. As stated I backed Zingano so it worked out for me, just reviewing the fight and I'm willing to call a spade a spade.

Gotta say, Zingano comes across as one of the most down to earth and likable fighters in the division.

At a good line though, Zingano for a half unit is a reasonable value play.

Maybe. Need to watch more fight footage first. If Tate can get Zingano down with little resistance, I expect Rousey to do the same. Zingano has a great clinch game, it's her strongest tool, but she's outmatched in that department by Rousey. I originally thought that she may be the only girl with the clinching skills to compete with Rousey, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that it's simply one less weapon that Zingano possesses. Even her finish of Tate consisted of knees in the double collar tie. Initial thought? Rousey -900.
