popo had the first round, lost the second, and the third he lost because richman got back to his feet and threw bombs while popo took him down and did no damage...richman also stuffed a takedown in the third ..so I thought the judges called it correctly

popo back mounted him and passed his guard to side mount 3 times. He dominated the grappling. That is effective grappling. No such thing as "he took him down and did no damage" that is not how you properly score grappling.

that's not really true, damage falls into effective strikes thrown, aggression, legal heavy strikes landed etc...that all has to do with damage.. I didn't mean they look at a nose bleed and award points if that's what you're thinking.

yea and popo couldn't do anything with it, all the while richman got back up and continued to out strike him while stuffing the take down..it evened out ..richman landed more punches in the third which won him the fight. Since they spent the majority of the third round standing, effective striking is weighed first when scoring.

I had Richman winning the first fight. Close though.

This last fight is why I don't bet much on these small shows. They penetrating suck. Throw any sort of capping out the window a lot of times, anything can happen in there with part time brawlers fighting in Indian Casinos.
