I think this line may have the most value of the currently released lines for the next several UFC cards.
Am contemplating a 3 unit bet.
Anyone here in agreement?

i played it at -150. the line has had a lot of movement so you might wait for a better number.

I'm watching it over the next week or so, I'm unsure it will get that high again though, but I may be able to get it for slightly better.

A lot. His ability to escape submissions is arguably the best we've ever seen in MMA, though; easily on Ben Henderson's level.

That's why I said "his ability to escape submissions" rather than "submission defence". Arguing Ben Henderson has good submission defence is like arguing that Maldonado has good striking defence.

Why? Maia can take him down, 100%. I'll be on Fitch by split/majority, and by decision, though.

Well we can all admit it, Fitch isnt the greatest striker, but he does have his speed of Maia. Maia can take him down sure, then Fitch's submission D comes into effect. Maia has a sick BJJ game but Fitch will grind out a boring win using his ground and pound, hes a point player, Maia is not on his level. Quite frankly, I think its a crime Fitch isnt still a top five WW.
Fitch fights to win, and he seems to finally have a spark under his ass. Look at his fight with Silva, Silva took his back what, 4 times I do believe? Not saying Maia has an advantage here, but Fitch will grind him.
Wish I had better analysis to offer, but I'm drunk, not in the mood to type. It sounds like we are both on Fitch, he takes this.

Fitch is very good at escaping subs. But he may not want to try that with Maia hanging on him. Going to the ground with Maia is risky as hell. He could very well wall and stall him for much of the fight. Fitch is perhaps a better striker, but I could see this being a very terrible striking match that is hard to judge.
I expect Fitch to win because he is slightly better everywhere other than pure BJJ. But I see no real advantage. He isn't going to be able to lay on Maia for 3 rounds.
