Matt Mitrione is +215 at my book...which is silly IMO...Should Roy Nelson be the favorite? Yes...but when has Mitrione looked really really bad? The first minute against Kimbo and against Kongo where he was more timid than outclassed.

And Varner is -105...his striking is more refined than the incredibly explosive Guillard...

Actually I think the really "dumb" people on this forum are the kiddies that don't realize they are talking to like 20 ghosts everyday.

He's just not on the UFC level, got the talent for it and he's young but he'll lose tonight and get cut. Maybe he works his way back.

How does a 4 week notice Mitrione win a 5 rounder though? He's got to outpoint roy for 5 rounds without Roy KO-ing him or smartening up and taking him down. I don't know if he can do that.

I suppose Easton isn't UFC caliber, either? Papazian is a flyweight who arguably beat a guy who was a top 10 bantamweight before his loss to Assuncao.

Right, Papazian is Rage in the Cage Bantamweight title holder material basically. Not saying much but he's better than Abel Cullum.

Arguably but he still lost and the wind kind of got taken out of his sails by the last fight. Eliott on the other hand looked awesome against Dodson with an excellent chin and cardio, and that was on short notice.

Right. Eliott looked real good on short notice against a guy who's fighting for a title now. Papazian looked good against Easton who just lost to Assuncao. So maybe Easton wasn't all we thought him to be. Also, Papazian's first fight at 125. Weight cut could be a factor. I like Tim to give Papazian his walking papers.

Forget Jared's last fight. That would have been an easy win for him. The ref did not allow him to use his feet on the cage to advance his position, which has never been done before or since! Dana White was pissed about that ref's interference. Jared wasn't able to get out of the position because the ref stopped him from doing so. That was a very flukey win for Pague, every MMA capper should be aware that Papazian would have more than likely won that fight.

The odds don't stand out to me. Papazians a talented fighter who could beat Eliott (a really unknown commodity even with his performance against Dodson), but I dunno, -170 for Eliott is just too expensive and +155 for Papazian just isn't enough to get me interested. Would just rather watch and enjoy it.

I don't ever think I know for sure the outcome of fights (I was real confident in Sotiropolous subbing Pearson) but as you know in this sport, anything can and will happen. In my opinion Papazians gonna lose this and get cut and go back to regional shows and maybe get back to the UFC, but I am not willing to risk money in that opinion. If I had a gun to my head and was forced to bet, it would be Eliott.
