Listened to the DAN episode (above). Think he made salient points. Right now, Americans scrambling for some bucks to pay taxes. Very believable that people have been selling for that reason in recent days.

Never want to see ppl on here lose money but at the same time it's humorous to see ppl saying Ethereum is gonna be worth more than Amazon. There was a guy in the stock thread who said that Tesla will be over 3000 by the summer, even though he knows that all the big ballers are working on their own fleet of EVs. He bought at 1,000. Ppl buying bitcoin at 50 and 60 thousand, absolutely ludacris. There's literally ppl on this site who said that bitcoin will go to 500k wthin a year or two.

That's actually not even possible. Talk to any economist. It's literally impossible mathematically.

When teh government starts cracking down on crypto more, this is going to tank even more. There are hardly any regulations when it comes to cryptocurrency, once that happens it's going to be like the stock market.

Cryptocurrency Exchanges Need Direct Regulation, SEC Chair Says

This was a week ago. You can expect some kind of proposal from Congress in the next 6 months to a year imo. What that does to the price, I'm not sure. But that regulation is coming, you can be sure of it. There are plenty of ppl trading crypto that are also getting away with tax fraud. Government is not just gonna stand by and allow that type of shit to continue. There's a ton of manipulation in this market.

My BTC holdings are down from a 12.5x to about 9x.

My Monero holdings are down from 9x to a 6.5x.

Those of you good at math can calculate my buy-in (DCA) price.

There's a school of thought out there that as soon as people recognize the value of owning privacy coins that they may come to dominate the market. With privacy coins you have no tax, no trace, no regulation which is what all good cryptos should be. Atomic swaps are on the way - swap one crypto for another without an intermediary (exchange). Regulation is futile. Ask China and India how banning crypto worked out for them... Crypto is global - can't be stopped.
