The v1 plays may change to the other team by game time. The v2 plays will not change teams, but may change (M/L) or (R/L), the team will usually remain the same. Once Official, nothing will change. We have to be careful when playing a game that qualifies for both v1 and v2, because if a team should switch, we may be playing both sides later in the series, or we could even start out on both sides. The system will count all games as wins/losses, how you play them is your discretion. If not otherwise marked, the play will be v1.Comment -

#8091This has to be the most crucial night for MLB Plu$$$$, so far. A D Bet failure yesterday, leading to an all-time low this season, and 3 D bets tonight.
It would be fantastic if all the D bets won, but history is not on our side. I stopped playing this system a few weeks back, but I still watch it and hope it bounces back. If the system does recover, it will be a sign of a robust structure, which is why tonight is crucial. I think this is what they call a watershed moment....

Notes: We'll keep it official for one more day. This is one of the reasons why we started this page was to keep Morrison honest. If you all remember last August 27th there was a series with the LA Angels vs the BAL Orioles. LAA lost all three bets (A), (B) and (C). There was no email from JM on the (A) bet, then on the second day he sends an email out calling the 2nd game the (A) bet which loses, then sends out an email on the 3rd game calling it the (B) bet which loses. Supposedly series over, but no he has the balls to call a (C) bet on the Angels when they go up to Seattle for a new series and then calls it an "easy as pie winner". I'm sure he received several emails including one from myself but no response. That was vintage Morrison. I know if MIN loses today they'll drop out of rpi range and we'll probably have to adjust but if it wins we'll score it official. GL all
P.S. I posted a lot of the upcoming plays because I'll be out of town from 9/01 through 9/07 so I'll be updating on the run. Also on the 5th I will be attending that CLE/DET game.
P.P.S. Who wants to bet if MIN wins today Morrison comes back and says oops!. It should have been official so we'll add another win to the total.

Good job on banking in on the unofficial [C] bet yesterday with the Cubs! For today, there's an unofficial [A] bet on Minnesota.
This is NOT an official bet because it does not pass the RPI filter.

Notes: Well I demoted it to unofficial and removed the (A) loss from the official record so not to confuse. It's hard to keep it real accurate when JM just changes the rules as he goes. Giving him the benefit of the doubt the record is about as accurate as can be. I thought Minny was going to come through yesterday when they were up 6-3 but they found a way to blow it and it doesn't look good today considering the pitching.GL all
P.S. I'm flying out on the red eye tonight and probably won't be able to update this page until later tomorrow or early Friday. Either way I should be able to get it up before the next set of plays start.
P.P.S. Forgot to mention there are 5 possible sweeps today.

#8103I wrote Morrison a response to his emails:
John, Your record is really good but there are certain aspects I'm not sure you take into consideration. All of us receiving your selections are assuming that the stars equate to units. Meaning you bet 1 unit per star as evidenced by days when you claim a winning day even though your picks went 1-1. Your 2* star pick won versus your 1* pick so you say you had a winning day. By that alone I would assume you mean to bet 1 unit per star. The other factor is you almost always play high favorites with high odds. So for instance on 8/25 you chose the Toronto Blue Jays as a 5* play and they closed at -162 odds. Now if I were betting to win one unit per star at $100 per unit I would have had to bet $810 to win $500. That bet lost. So now I've got to win over 8 units to recover my losses from that one 5* star bet. You seem concerned only with wins and losses and place no bearing on odds or financial management. I would need to track it further to determine whether or not it is good as you say it is. I was a member of your "champselections" in the past and it was a disaster. I completely lost my bankroll because I believed in your bold claims of "inside information" and ability to continuously pick winners. Fool me once, it's your fault. Fool me twice it's my fault. Thanks John but I'm not completely convinced that your new "champselections" are any better than your old "champselections". Besides, what if your "inside info" dries up ? Where are we then ? I'll pass for now John.

James,
For yet another day in a row, The Champ Selections won big time
on the highest rated pick of the day! As a matter of fact, the 2*
Star pick on Dodgers banked in from the get-go! The Dodgers took
a the lead from the very first inning, and never, ever trailed
once during the entire game! This was exactly what my inside info
said would happen! Pretty exciting to see how the game went down
exactly as predicted, for yet another straight day in a row on my
highest rated bet! Overall, my picks yesterday was a perfect day!
Since your complimentary trial to The Champ Selections started, I
have not yet had a single day where I lost more picks than I won.
Here's my win-loss record over the last 10 days of picks:
8/19 2-0 (highest rated bet cashed in!)
8/20 4-1 (highest rated bet cashed in!)
8/21 1-1
8/22 1-1 (winning day as we cashed in on highest rated bet!)
8/23 1-1 (winning day as we cashed in on highest rated bet!)
8/24 4-2 (highest rated 6* Star bet of the month cashed in!)
8/25 2-2
8/26 2-0 (highest rated bet cashed in!)
8/27 3-1 (highest rated bet cashed in!)
8/28 2-1 (highest rated bet cashed in!)
8/29 1-0 (highest rated bet cashed in!)
To get a sense of just how incredibly powerful my selections have
been, just consider all of this James:
-------------------------------------------------
- My picks in the last 11 days of your trial have gone for 23-10
- I have not had a losing day during this entire trial!
- My highest rated pick of the day won 9 out of the 11 days!
That's an astonishing 82% win rate on my pick of the day!
- My highest rated pick of the month on the Giants on August 24th
cashed in with ease! This was a 6* pick, and most highly rated this month.
- Going back to the days before your trial, I now have a win-loss
record of 74-30 for the month of August with The Champ Selections!
- I've had only 2 losing days so far for the entire month of August!
- My 74-30 winning streak has absolutely NO signs of ever slowing down!
-------------------------------------------------
Are you wholly, fully, and completely convinced yet James?
Look, talk is cheap. I can sit here and ramble all day long, but
it's the results that really matter. That's why I gave you this
complimentary trial to The Champ Selections so that you can witness
for yourself first-hand just how incredible my picks really are. We
have not had a single day where my picks lost more than they won. My
highest rated pick of the day have won an incredible 9 times out of
the last 11 days! Yesterday's perfect performance, and again cashing
in on the pick of the day is yet another piece of proof to the pudding!
Do you see now why I normally charge $2,000/month + 5% of winnings
for a membership to The Champ Selections? It's worth every penny!
Now that you've seen for yourself how rock-solid my inside info
really is, and how powerful my selections really are, it's time to
jump onboard to the real membership to The Champ Selections!
And best of all, I'll open up The Champ Selections to you for just
a one-time investment of only $200! This will get you all of my
inside info picks for a full 30 days so you can see for yourself
how absolutely mind-blowing it really is! After 30 days is over,
you'll have the option of sending in an additional $300. If you do,
then you'll receive the Champ Selections membership for an entire YEAR!
--------------------------------------------------------------------
To secure your membership to The Champ Selections for just $200
using your CC or Paypal, go to:
This will get you my Champ Selections daily picks for a full month.
After the month is over and you can see for yourself how absolutely
mind-blowing my inside info picks really are, you'll then have the
option to send in $300 to secure membership for an entire YEAR! That
works out to less than $1.37/day to start banking in runaway profits!
--------------------------------------------------------------------
James, you may be shocked that I can pick such consistent
winners, but the truth is there is not a single ounce of surprise
about it! Why? Because I have inside info, and I already knew what
the results of those games would be long before they ever even started!
Why do you think people are glad to throw down $2,000/month + 5% of
winnings to get in on my picks? The value of inside info is priceless!
Day after day, my picks have continued on an unstoppable winning run,
with absolutely no end to this incredible streak anywhere in sight!
Every day that you're not betting on my picks, you're losing money
James. Remember, I have inside info. Follow my selections, and
you'll make money. It's that simple! The proof is right in front of you!
To see what kind of a sickening fortune you can amass with just
$100 on my picks over the next year, just check out:
And those are some real conservative figures. If my results since
June is any indication, you're only going to need a couple months
of betting along before $2,000/month means absolutely nothing to you!
--------------------------------------------------------------------
To secure your membership to The Champ Selections for just $200
using your CC or Paypal, go to:
This will get you my Champ Selections daily picks for a full month.

works out to less than $1.37/day to start banking in runaway profits!
--------------------------------------------------------------------
The truth is that I can charge any kind of a price for a private
subscription to The Champ Selections and it would be worth every
single penny. Perhaps you may not have tens of thousands to bet
with on a game right now. But even with just a tiny, miniscule
fraction of such a bankroll, you would be banking in winnings
beyond what you could possibly ever comprehend within just months
of following my selections!
All the best,
John Morrison, PhD

money James! Remember, I have INSIDE INFO. Follow my

That is usually when I start to fade Crusher. I HATE days like today. This stupid CWS-Minn series is at a point where I have mulitiple systems giving me plays on both sides. It is game 6 for the Fade in the shut-out system. It is a E bet in the System Integrity and a C bet for JM. Best case for me is CWS to win by 1 run. This sucks.
I just realized you said JM vs Crusher. They are on totally different gamesLast edited by GGPLAYER; 08-31-11, 10:32 AM.Comment -

#8105Hagball,
Its difficult to track JM when he's changing his own rules. Strictly speaking Minnesota was an official bet from the get go, with an RPI difference of .015 (the filter excludes games with an RPI difference "more than .015" (JM's words from his pdf).
However, in anticipation of the RPI differential extending beyond .015 during the losing A and B bets, I apply a personal limit of .010 difference. JM is correct, in a practical sense, to say that Minnesota is unofficial. However, he needs to officially use the .005 buffer as I do.
Finally, I don't know why people play the unofficial bets. The RPI filter only has to work once in 20 series to pay for itself. Currently the unofficial record is 34-1 (profit). However, its about to go 34-2, rendering the unofficial system a loser this year. The official system is 29-1. OK, its not fantastic, but the official system season is now over and that's 9 units profit.

#268 Colorado @ Arizona (-1½) v2 (A) *Official* (9:40 pm EDT)
** Do not place any wagers on teams unless the word “Official” appears next to the game. All lines and standings are based on final lines from ScoresandOdds.com. Some of the unofficial plays may change to the other team by game time. Official plays will not change. Keep checking for updated posts until all games are marked “official”. If your book is offering (+1½) on the (-1½) plays above, buy the alternate line for (-1½) on the team I have listed at (-1½), not the other team. NEVER PLAY (+1½) LINE ON ANY GAME IN THIS SYSTEM.
System backtest can be found in post #3446.
If not otherwise marked, the play will be v1.Comment -

but I appreciate the postings u put up Ive been getting the official emails from a friend of my mine but sometimes they come late I just dont get it why he said it was unofficial especially when it looks like a winner today but whatever
and yes I agree with most of u guys about Sept system plays but I dont think that JM calls them unofficial per say as much as u think b/c I remembered in yrs past when we have "official" plays in Sept he says basically to bet them lightly but still calls them wins if everyone else on here remembers that especially back in 2009 which was a good season in MLBComment -

#8111Pretty good start to the day. Detroit became a "no action" for me because of the last minute pitching change, and Minnesota held on @ +170 on the JM "C" bet. I will gladly trade the 1 unit "A" bet loss on Chicago for that.Comment -

#8114Hagball,
Min won the C Bet and was, according to the written word of the system, an official bet due to the RPI differential of .015 (on the limit). This makes the official record, according to your stats, as 30-1.
I want to discuss the single loss you have recorded: NYY v Bos. Strictly speaking, that series was not official because Bos held the 2nd highest RPI in the league at that time.
JM tends to send out e-mails that do not comply with his written PDFs, so I don't act on his e-mails. Although I add a buffer of .005 to the .015 RPI, the fact remains that the system, according to the PDF, has been 100% this season: 31-0
Thoughts?

#8118You're right but the reason we scored that loss official was because he sent out all 3 plays official and didn't disqualify it until after the (C) bet loss. We all know what he was trying to do (score an official win) but once it lost he pulled the top rpi rule out of his ass. We all knew in advance what was going on. It was debateable I guess. It really doesn't matter to me that much. We all made a few units this season.
yeh, bost. i believe had moved to 2nd on the b bet, which would have disqualified it at the time normally. (now had one been playin via the orig. sys. it woulda been a no play from the start because they were in the top 3 rpi rating. they were #3.)
minny would have probably been disqualified today, if they had lost, w/ the higher than 015 rpi; & yet he had it as unoff. right from the beginning.Of course i think he has stated in the past not to play teams w/ no playoff possibilities. Must have started earlier than usual this yr. w/ minn. Couldn't blame him there.

#8119Hey Kev, back to your previous post. I think you mean 30-0 instead. At 29-1 you would remove the NYY loss and then add the MIN win and that would get ya 30-0.
It'll be interesting to see what JM sends out in tomorrow's email. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a big fat OOPS! it should have been official.
I guess let's see what happens over the next couple of days. I have no problem leaving it the way it is but if you all want it changed just chime in and we'll take a vote on it.
I just went and checked worst road record and MIN is not even close so that can't disqualify it.Last edited by hagball52; 08-31-11, 06:40 PM.Comment -
