    Games for (8/16/11):
    #213 Chicago Cubs @ Houston (-1½) (C) (2:05 pm EDT)
    #214 L.A. Dodgers (M/L) @ Milwaukee (C) *Official* (8:10 pm EDT)
    #216 St. Louis (M/L) @ Pittsburgh (C) *Official* (7:05 pm EDT)

    #220 Arizona @ Philadelphia (-1½) v2 (A) *Official* (7:05 pm EDT)

** Do not place any wagers on teams unless the word “Official” appears next to the game. All lines and standings are based on final lines from ScoresandOdds.com. Some of the unofficial plays may change to the other team by game time. Official plays will not change. Keep checking for updated posts until all games are marked “official”. If your book is offering (+1½) on the (-1½) plays above, buy the alternate line for (-1½) on the team I have listed at (-1½), not the other team. NEVER PLAY (+1½) LINE ON ANY GAME IN THIS SYSTEM.
System backtest can be found in post #3446.

The v1 plays may change to the other team by game time. The v2 plays will not change teams, but may change (M/L) or (R/L), the team will usually remain the same. Once Official, nothing will change. We have to be careful when playing a game that qualifies for both v1 and v2, because if a team should switch, we may be playing both sides later in the series, or we could even start out on both sides. The system will count all games as wins/losses, how you play them is your discretion. If not otherwise marked, the play will be v1.

This situation has just occurred as Philly lost yesterday, and that loss was a first loss after a win.

The season total of backing Philly in this situation is 26 wins, 5 losses, and 19 wins 2 losses in the last 21 times this situation has occurred.

I started playing this situation for 2 units each time when the trend emerged a couple of months ago (I started playing this when Philly was 14-4 winning after a single loss). Since then I have gone 12-1 playing this method so it has been great.

You got it wilba. And also 37-0 series wins(3-4 gm. series only).

I'm fairly certain this system would be in the black if we'd just avoided every Cubs series this year.

Yes, but you don't know what team that will be going in. What team will it be next year? Who the hell knows?

Notes: As we head down the final stretch it gets a little difficult. Hard to figure this series out. SDG is terrible at home and FLA has lost 11 of their last 13. Surely FLA should be able to get 1 win out of 4 tries. Let's hope. There were no sweeps yesterday and there are 2 possible sweeps today. Will update tomorrow. GL all

Yeah, I played it money line. The fact that it is a 4 game set against one of the worst teams and one of the worst home teams gives a high probability to at least get one win. Also Sanchez will be pitching in one of the games and San Diego almost never sweeps anybody. GL however you play it.

If not otherwise marked, the play will be v1.

on the Cincinnati Reds, and boy, this was a game that was banked in
from the get-go! The Reds took the lead from the very first inning,

Now, here is today's Sports Betting Champ system bet(s):

This page shows the bet(s) that you will need to place today. The
team on top is the team you need to bet for. The team on bottom is
the team they're playing against. The letter in bracket is the bet
                                                        type you'll need to place.

For example, if the page shows:

                                                        4/11 - Colorado [A]
                                                        Arizona

Then this means that on 4/11 you will need to place a bet on the
Colorado Rockies to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks. The amount you
should bet is the amount you've set on your Bet A. Remember to bet
on the +1.5 run line if the team you're betting for is the
underdog, and on the money line if the team you're betting for is
the favorite. Basically, if the +1.5 option is available for the
team you're betting on, then bet on the 1.5 run line. If the +1.5
run line is not available (it will show as -1.5 instead), then bet
on the money line. Note that if you bet on the +1.5 run line, then
you will win the bet even if your team loses the game by 1 run.

One more thing to keep in mind is that sometimes you may not
immediately see the game available for betting on the betting site.
Sometimes the game might be available but the run line isn't shown.
If this is the case, just wait and check back later during the day.

                                                        Good luck!

I bought the system, and later heard that it's nothing new and been around a long time. So he probably stole it, made it sound fresh and rakes in some more of our cash. Anyway, all you do is play against last years Super Bowl winner until you hit one of the first 3 games. In other words take New Orleans +4.5 (5Dimes line) against Green Bay on 9/8. If you win you're done. If not, double up and take whoever plays against Green Bay the next week. And then the 3rd. week if you lose the 2nd. And what he claims is that this once a year series has never lost since the Super Bowl began. Last year I believe it hit on the second game. So what the heck, even though it's just one shot a year, if it keeps on winning that's fine with me. Try it out if you like. At least it does make sense that the books would over inflate a Super Bowl winner to draw in public money, namaste! out

It's actually a bet that makes sense if you think about it. It's the beginning of the season, and the odds makers don't have much info on the current teams. It makes sense that they would give too many points to the team playing against the Superbowl Winner.

I run a safe system that does nothing but win...so not sure why you mentioned me...

Deal with your losses...leave my name out of it...have you buddy here make his own thread next year...quite annoying to try to follow the jm thread (I do not play his picks but enjoy reading) and have to dig through all the plus$$ losses and piling on of plays to find the JM posts... Guys if you have not seen a system like the plus$$ before...it is similiar to the guy that just keeps losing and increasing his bets to imaginary amounts... Example 2x 5x 10x 20x...hey I hit the 20x ain't I smart mentality... The difference you just keep piling on plays...keep series "open" filled with losses and hope by piling on plays they overwhelm the losses...which up to now has not happened...but I do see what he is trying to do...

But I only have interest in seeing how JM does here...after a system has spent 80%-90% of the time in the red and is still down this time of the year...most do not want to see it...unless fading...which obviously would have paid wisely...

Well hopefully the wins sooner or later overtake the losses (I have no reason to do anything but hope he somehow turns it around so good luck)with a system like wallco$$ you can expect it to be forced to run longer maybe eventually be up by using the techique I mentioned...but successful threads do not spend most of the season in the red... and bankrupt most of its followers...

Seriously though this is the second time in the last few days someone has mentioned my name here...if you want to criticize his system...do not try to get me involved...have the nuts to do it yourself...

Now leave me out of it... I am sure he sees the system overall even if it comes back needs to be overhauled...maybe next year he comes back strong...good systems can be developed from what he started here...I bet someone has a few ideas...well good luck and hopefully in the end it wins...
