Sorry, that was supposed to be a v2, I thought I put that. However, to answer your question, there may be a few times during the season when we play either the M/L or R/L on a v1 play and not both. I believe it happened once or twice already. Usually when criteria are met for the M/L play, they are also met for the R/L play, and vice versa. But not always. I will fix that item.

Yes, I think it did at some point at the beginning of the season, there was a clear favorite ML bet without the RL bet on the side. Thanks for the response!

When the bookies post the odds like that, they are expecting a close game. Whether we like it or not, they do know what they are doing most times, so paying a little bit of insurance premium is worth it, IMHO.

People forget that this obscure rule only has to kick in once in 20 series, to pay for itself. The Giants might, or might not, win one of their next 2 games. Lets now see over the next 2 days what happens. If you didn't pay the insurance premium with the alt RL last night, I wish you well...

Hmmmm. #204 and #207 can be played a number of ways...

You can bet them as written, in which case you will definitely lose at least one of them.

You can pick one of the bets and just skip the other one. Of course, you run the risk of picking the loser and missing out on the winner.

You can bet Cubs +1.5 RL and Braves ML. That has the benefit of guaranteeing at least one win and possibly two. But you miss out on the positive money.

You can skip both bets and just pick up again when one of them falls out.

Given that we're talking about the Cubs, I think the last option may be best for me.

"To be safe rather than sorry, you should always bet on the +1.5
run line if the Money Line odds for your team to win is -115 or

-113 for example, then you should look for it in the "Alternate Run

If you did not bet on the Alternate Run Line, you can still keep

Unreal...I don't like all the juice on the RL so I took ML on Pit and Oak...it's goig to bite me in the you know what. Last night I took AZ on the RL so I really got nailed. Not having a good weekend so far. I told myself to just layoff all these games.
