I don't think I'll touch the CHW/DET game. I never get the White Sox right, Jackson's been pitching like Cy Young and is due for a clunker at some point (right?), and Scherzer's been lights-out at home and overall lately. Does work in your favor that the Tigers are back from a week-long road trip with no rest in a day game, though.
I'd buy the under.
I believe I have watched every game since this guy came to Chicago, and I gotta say this: With the stuff he has had lately, he's NEVER due for a clunker. It's pretty amazing.

Hey lb great work man...I appreciate you posting your picks and sharing ur insight every day. Just wondering, will you be on the dbacks? I'm a fan of Ian Kennedy and the early line move basically solidified a play for me. Thanks again and GL!

Thats it for now. Really looking forward to the games tomorrow.
Paco has his mL on the Tigers and you on the WSox. I think I'll stay put.
The RL for Rocks at 5Dimes starts at +105. I'm not good at RL. Is that fair?
I like the Mets/Nats under 8 eventhough the Mets crushed the Cubs game going Over.
LB, what you think about Astros/Cubs Under 13? 5Dimes starts it that way.
This is my first play. 971 Baltimore Orioles/New York Yankees* Under 9½ -125

Not really, he dominated Tigers in his couple of starts this year. With the White Sox he has 14IP and 2ER.

"The Astros have quietly gone 11-3 in their last 14 games. They are 8-3 in their last 11 road contests.
Now they get the Cubs and youngster Casey Coleman, who is 1-1 with a 5.76 ERA. He is 0-1 at Wrigley Field with a 10.24 ERA. The Cubs are a driftless bunch waiting to be torn down in anticipating of a new beginning in 2011.
The Astros are loose, spirited and playing well. They also have one of the hottest pitchers in baseball going in Rodriguez.
Rodriguez is 8-2 with a 1.65 ERA during his last 13 starts. Going back to June 24, you find that Rodriguez has the second-lowest ERA of any National League starter. The southpaw has surrendered just one homer in his last eight starts. The Cubs are 3-9 the past 12 times they've faced a southpaw.
The Astros have had good success, too, versus the Cubs winning eight of the past 11 meetings, including going 4-1 in Chicago".

"This looks a little too easy, as the Giants suddenly look like the team with all the momentum in the National League West. They trailed by six games just about a week ago, and now they're back by one thanks to the 10-game losing skid by the Padres.
Yet even though they're taking on the last-place Diamondbacks and they boast the fifth-best record in the majors the past two months, I have a feeling we're going to see an upset here.
The oddsmakers would agree, which is why you see the Giants installed as such a cheap chalk in this game.
The Snakes took two of three from the Giants back on Aug. 27-29 as part of a 7-1 run, and tonight I'm going to bank on Ian Kennedy, who has been on a nice little hot streak for them.
Kennedy will be looking to extend his career-best win streak to four. The right-hander has a rather stingy 2.77 ERA over his last four starts and is in after giving up three runs over seven innings in a 7-4 win over the first-place Padres last Tuesday.
Play the Snakes tonight, as Kennedy pitches Arizona to a home win"

"Fishy line here. The Giants are playing well, and have young gun Madison Bumgarner (5-4, 3.76 ERA) facing a short-handed Arizona lineup (Upton and Reynolds both likely out) in this one... So what gives? Why are oddsmakers making it that easy to play San Fran here? Truth is, they're begging for Giants money and I'm definately NOT going to give it to them."
