does tampa stay hot against the bo sox tonight? Bucholz has pitched well his last 2 outings giving up 2 in 8 against the twins and only 1 in 6 and 1/3 against the tigers. Ride the hot streak or bet the veteran team?

ride the hot streak and the veteran team, which would be sox, 5-1 last 6 and i would say sox are hotter coming off philly series, youk is insane hott right now, buchholz should outduel davis with pena and upton cold cold (i'm sitting wade on one of my fantasy teams and playing buchholz on the other)

Paco I know everyone's on Boston, but can you give me a good reason to back the magic? I thought last game was the obvious "need to win" situation and they showed ZERO heart. I honestly see no reason for that to change.

I have to disagree. The Rays took 2 in NY. Lost to Hou the next day, then slowly ascended to where they're supposed to be. Bos did rip Halladay, but that's after he'd thrown118, 119, 121, and 132 pitches his previous starts, in chronological order. His arm was asking to get banged so it could have a little rest. I'm on TB.

I see this exactly like the Yanks/Mets game yesterday. They don't put the best team in baseball as at a line that low unless there's a reason. But good luck with your play, I'm on Boston for a small amount.

1.) Dwight Howard
2.) Vince Carter
3.) Jameer Nelson
4.) Public way too heavy on Boston.
5.) +8 to a team we know can execute if Nelson gets going.
6.) Letdown for Boston
7.) Boston showed they can win by 20, and then lose by 20 the next game (Cavs)
8.) Value of +320 is ridiculous
9.) I have Boston winning the series anyway so I profit either way

10.) Cuz I'm a square today .......maybe

Sounds good man. I just have a tough time backing a team with no heart in this situation. Maybe I'll just make a total play and lay off the side. We'll see...

Hi Paco - A piece of useless trivia for you on 24 which I said I'd share with you...

One of the writers Evan Katz is a fan of my favourite band The Go-Betweens (hence avatar). He wrote once on their message board that he had to get the band a mention in the show somehow so he named the sinister corporation in the fourth season McLennan-Forster after the bands lead singers (Robert Forster and the late Grant McLennan).

To be honest, I didn't want to even bet this game. I won a lot in tennis and I don't want to piss that money away so I've put the tiniest bets of probably the past 3 months on Orlando just for fun. I don't really care about this game at all.
