Teecee, this post is not all all to bash or put down your work- I like seeing you win and I check ya out now and then. You are an underdog player and what I noticed is from time to time you play a big fave ml and runline, sometimes both plays with the same fav. If you stuck with just the dogs and did not play them occasional favs (ml or run line or sometimes both) your record would be even higher. Glad you are up units even with those favs that lose. I was curious as to the reasoning to play these favs when you do best with dogs? Keep up the good work and always stay positive.

B/c I think I know what I'm doing, when in actuality, I really don't. I'm generally following a system for unders/dogs, of which I did not create, then add stupid gut picks that lose more often than they win.

I'm not offended at all, dude. Alot of the fave picks I come up with on my own flat out suck, so any criticism they may receive is warranted. I need to realize that if I'm not willing to spend some time actually breaking down matchups, I should just stick to the system. That is hard at times, and I need to try harder to not deviate from what I set out to do, which is play the unders/dogs system. Thanks for stopping by the thread, spippen.

Teecee, I may be wrong, but it looks like there will be about 8 plays tonight also.

Not that it matters a whole, but I hate when teams change pitchers overnight. I guess I could be wrong, but last night I saw that Buerhle was throwing against the Halos today. Oh well.

If you capped the game with Buerhle and not Peavy should LAA still be a "offical" play then?

Buerhle is ranked A36 at Sagarin
Peavy is ranked A27 at Sagarin

The play does fit the mold, as you play the dog if the fave starter is outside the top 20, but as you can see, the play is not as strong. I locked these in last night, so I have no choice but to go with it.

I like your calls TeeCee. Changing the lineup last minute is annoying-almost as much as rain delays/postpones. Good luck Mr. Mohawk-I wonder why he's always laughing...?

He would not be laughing if he just saw that 2nd inning Hanson just puked on.

My bad, smitty. I've been a Braves fan for 20+ years now. Not such a good day to be that, but hey, I live in the Cincinnati area, so at least I can say my hometown team rolled today.

I had Pit at +108 from sbr yesterday evening and this morning my book had pit +100. I was just wondering.

No Worries TeeCee I didn't tail completely. Only needed a one run win for either side which I got, kind of a runline wager but not really-for 330 odds. Looked good this morning on paper but I had serious doubts at 9-1. Cheers

I don't know why I was b*tching about the pitching change in LAA/CWS game. It got cancelled b/c Buerhle was scheduled to pitch today. All that complaining and I forget to go back and make another wager on it.

Teecee, I have all the same as you except I have the White Sox in stead of the Marlins. My book had Fla -115 and CWS -105.

Also, are you not playing Det due to the line being higher than +150?

I've Just decided to drop the sides and totals records from my sig. I get tired of trying to keep track of the individual categories, so I'll just go with the overall, which is all that really matters anyway.

Here's my advice, fwiw. If I logged in to my acct. and saw that the line was above/below (however it's said) +150, I would make it a no play. I selected my plays as soon as the lines came out at my book, so I'm already locked into the game.

The number on the Mets is now +144 at my book. If I were to make my plays now, the Mets would make the cut.

Just use your best judgment, GG. If the opening line had a team as a dog, and they move to a fave, I would still play it since they opened as dog. If a team opens as a +145 dog, and I go to make my play and they are at +155, I won't play it. Do what you think is best, it's your money.
