Interesting fact; only 6 teams which are playing tonight scored in the first inning. Expect more than 50% of the games to see runs in the first.

Right now I'm looking at 5 overs and 2 unders. I'm confident in one of the unders and the second under is borderline. The % at risk will reflect my confidence.

I'm loving all the knowledge which is being spreaded in DD's thread. Here are my picks and some of my views on the matchups:

Overs:
TOR/BAL, 3% Estrada has been terrible in the first. period. Miley is a ticking bomb and the way Donaldson and co have been swinging, he will be in trouble. Bautista has been nothing more than crap against Miley, Travis should be leading off, or even Pillar. The wind blowing in is a minor factor. IF Bautista wasnt leading off and the wind was blowing out, this would be a no brainer, 4%er.

WAS/PHI, 4% Washington is one of the best road teams during the first. Thompson shouldn't be in the bigs and is not a great 1st inning SP. The Phils have destroyed Roarkin the first. Hernandez, Herrera and Franco tee off of this guy. Wind is neutral.

MIN/CLE, 2% Tough one, real tough one... Cleveland is due to score in the first! At home, they should put up somegreat first innings over the next few days. Francona is an idiot, Rajai should not be leading off, Ramirez should. Napoli is trash and shouldbe hitting sixth. One of the main reasons why the Tribe cant score in the first! Santiago is very vulnerable in the first and Bauer is also. Nobody on the Twins really hit Bauer and that is why I am downgrading to a 2%er. On top of that the wind is blowing in. Feel free to pass!

Here's a play I am laying off of:
CWS/DET under. Shields has been pretty solid in the first, he's a guy you should be playing the over on in the second. Boyd is also decent. My major issues are what these batters have been doing to both of them. The matchups contradict eachother. i'll pass

was down a good 6-7% last night. Not sure if I'llget today's picks in. Here are my preliminary picks. I'll cut these down to about 5-7 picks. Just not sure if I'll have the time.

Side note; only 8 of yesterday's 26 teams scored in the first. this is the second day we have been well under the average. Expect that to change in the near future. Although there are quite a few premium 1st inning pitchers going today, I expect a lot of runs in the first innings today.

Which game is the LAD/COL for? I'm assuming game 2 because that's the same pitching matchup as for last night? Although, I just saw that Rich Hill might be scratched.

Be careful with Urena. That ERA and 1st inning ERA is very misleading. He has only given up runs in one of his last six starts.

BTW, I know it's a good seven months away, but next season is going to be a blast! Nash13 is putting in some serious work and teaching me how to code in SDQL. I honestly believe we can get a hit rate above 60% on the first inning plays. Good things willcome in the 2017 MLB season. I can't wait!!

Ok. Thanks TT. You're right. There's been more than a few games this week that the current and 1st inning ERA's, lineups, etc., looked like one thing and did the other. Lol. I'm probably going to get an early start on football and skip MLB today.

I shallowly capped these games, would've probably dropped a few. Especially that WSH/NYM matchup.
