One of my handicapping tools is umpire stats. When teams start a new series, the home plate umpire is usually not announced until right before the game, and therefore I need to have more other factors in my favor to make a play. After reviewing today's card, I will not have any selection for Friday. Remember it is a long season.

Doubledime, being kind of new to sport betting I found your angle play in hockey (taking the under) very interesting. Just curious if there's anything similar to that with other sports like baseball or NBA. Very interesting going back and looking at game histories.

I have the total capped at 8.9 runs. Both closing bull pens are below average. Air density leans to the over, wind blowing in 10 MPH, but they are predicting thunder storms at game time so the roof will probably get closed. I am still looking, but It may be an over release for me tonight.

Sunday's Play:

Det/Houston over 8 -120

Capped the game to go 9.9 runs and have some favorable weather on our side. (20 MPH blowing out to center, at game time, 78 degrees and 66% air index.) Bullpens have thrown 264 pitches combined over the last 3 days which is a bit over average. Hopefully we can get some late inning runs.

Thanks ILA. Totals have been my bread and butter over the years, and I will be concentrating more on those, at least until I feel the sides are on par with the totals.
