What opening line was used to back track this system? I am going to keep a record of it using the LVSC opening line, making that favorite the bet. So based on that the bet would be Atlanta (-185).

no. the biggest moneyline dog (of each different day) lost 6+ straight times in three different instances.

he was saying we should bet & chase the biggest moneyline dog because this system is only .500. but there are more favorite wins by 1 point than he thinks (which means a rl loss on the favorite, and a moneyline loss on the dog)

also...i think this system will get better as the season progresses and the favorites start hitting their strides and making their playoff pushes. august was pretty incredible last season. every other month was pretty ordinary.

vegasinsider has ATL, as does USA today and covers.

SBR has MIL (although MIL opened at -176 and ATL opened at -171)

So is that how this system works just by the opening line? You should really monitor the 2 or 3 games ect. in question per night to see how the line changes. A team could open up with the higher ML but as the day progresses that other game now has the greater ML. Not only that what about for pitching changes or even sudden late scratches that are so many factors you need to take into account I think.

i've been using mostly covers.com for opening lines.
it seems like recently there have been discrepancies we didnt have a month ago.
i think covers and sbr have been the main places this board has been using. so if they arent the same, i'd lean towards which one other books support (ATL for today).

ps last night i lost on ATL but it was my only bet, so on to a B bet today.

Ahhh...so confusing. Covers, SBR, VegasInsider. Which one to use? I seem to remember earlier in the thread several people agreeing to Covers as the official line, but I'm too lazy to look back through 30 pages for it. Covers is the one I've been going off. Here's an idea, though. What about creating a couple extra threads using the different opening sources and track them independently? Confusion conquered. Just a thought...

By the way, I was playing this chase system earlier and decided to jump back in recently. 10-0 on the season, 14-15 overall (I was doing some -1 RL hedging). I was foolishly aggressive early on betting more than I should have, but it worked out

. In order to minimize the chase, though, I've decided to only play +RL games, so I just move down the list of ML favorites in order until I find one.
