Most penetrating frustrating thing is betting shields this year. Leads the MLB in most quality starts without a win. I put the house on him. Hopefully they pull thru

Compare the ground ball/fly ball ratio for the Royals against a lefty and a righty. And they pretty much roll out the same guys every night.

Until those kids stop thinking there gonna be good cuz a few wiseguys said so and take the approach to be good they will be streaky and mediocre.

Look at their walk percentage. Sooner or later they are gonna learn to work a pitcher and get their pitch rather than relying on talent. They have some but it is being wasted. penetrating free swinging uppercuts by too many guys.

it shocked me how miserable they looked against lyons few days ago in kc, his stuff isnt really all that great, he lefty, thought he was a candidate to get lit up by kc and those clowns go out there and roll over on every damn breaking ball he throws..

Honestly, Moustakas and Hosmer should be sent down. They have no idea what they're doing at the plate. Zero.

They surprised everyone before ballclubs got books on them. Now they are predictable and don't know how to adjust. They're both just lost.

does the oaktown money train keep rolling vs sale? he has had ton of time off, scrubbies got him for 2 early before delay and he was already on extended rest..oaktown likes the lefties! cant decide if it cheap for sale or just awesome getting + money on oaktown right now? not to pat myself on back but they been on fire since i said they would take off

..have a lot more faith in parker to get it right no matter what the numbers say and think he have another solid outing..

Hard to say. I hate betting against Sale. Parker is much better than his current numbers indicate, and the White Sox are putrid at the dish right now.

+ money on the better team who hits lefties well..seems like a must to me.. lad line curious, think im down with ryu at that number.. kc tt under against Yu with no wind tunnel seems reasonable..gonna be hard not to bet lastros again at that stupid price on laa.. looking at det or over but still work to do.. have to look at how sf hits lefties as lyons might have to beat me one more time but know really nothing bout starter for sf so would like to, over maybe? or if someone can convince me sf starter solid maybe them but hard to go against stl right now..

Just a lot of ? on the card if you ask me.

Is this Balty starter really as bad as he's looked so far? Tigers typically don't do all that well against pitchers they don't know, and Porcello favored on the road against a team with an identical record is a true head-scratcher.

i dunno know if that kid from balty that bad but he certainly far from good at this moment in time, ump with what id consider a smallish k-zone and nice weather for ball to fly again..kid has a really high fly ball rate and throws a ton of fastballs so not sure he tricking det hitter.porcello on other hand getting a ton of grounders which be a good idea 2marro but he hasnt faired well in balty and has 1 horrific start with porter behind plate.. i dunno over seems worth a shot i guess considering conditions, lack of trust for either pen (or starter), and bats..

In theory. When his sinker isn't biting, he gets pummeled and the O's have the kind of offense that could make him pay for an off day.

went ahead and played oak +104, sale be damned and he on tons of rest, and A's stroke lefties..been ride or die w oaktown since crisp and young came back, no reason to jump ship now as it been going really well..love this team!

10 hits 3 walks vs quintana today, just couldnt get guys home..4 hits 5 walks 4 runs vs bumgarner..zito owned them but he a pain in the ass especially daytime at home and sf really needed that win. only 4 hits off bedard but worked another 5 walks.. so the obp is still there, not worried at all..maybe sale shuts them down but i also get the better pen to go with the better bats and better team..maybe they lose but oak+104 seems like id come out ahead taking that in the long haul..

Kulpa behind the plate and he is a solid under ump in my book (also fave 8-3 this season with Kulpa calling balls and strikes).
