Going back to last yr u much rather be against the move than w it. There was a time I felt good bout beating a closer by so much but these days seems like it better to just wait and go against the 20 cent or greater move.

I pretty much never lay more than -150 on a baseball game for obvious reasons but today I laid -196 on Harvey. I feel like an idiot. If this wins, I swear I will never lay this much juice again.

Why did I back a team 9 games under .500 on the road at -196 when they have just got their asses kicked by their opponent the previous two days?

My thinking was that there was no way Miami was going to win three in a row and beat Harvey. I've watched this Miami go like 7 innings at a time without getting a base runner but today they have multiple guys on every inning and are hitting one of the best pitchers in MLB. WTF.

This just reiterates why it's stupid to lay such heavy juice.

Hell, Jerome Williams was like -250 last night for the Angels. What's up with that?

Bottom line: most people bet on the starting pitcher matchup. Hell, I'm guilty of it sometimes. You have to take the Mets as a whole into consideration -- the fact that Harvey is undoubtedly elite, but he's pitching for a team that doesn't do much right behind him, both in the field and at the plate.
