Notes: Out of the 6 possible sweeps yesterday we got one. Unfortunately it will be on the worst team in all of baseball. The rpi numbers aren't up yet but this one will definitely be unofficial. More later.

I honestly think the Marlins are worse off than the Astro's (from a direct comparison), the Marlins office gutted their team and left them with Stanton basically by himself (and severely un-happy), if he leaves they'll be loosing more games than money on their newly upgraded ball park.. What are your thoughts?Comment -
I think it will be a dogfight between Miami and Houston to battle all the way to the basement. I think Houston leads the league in stikeouts and Miami is just a total trainwreck. There could be some decent money made this year fading both of those teams and it won't be hard to play the run line against them.Comment -

Oh yeah for sure, I cant work out whats happening with starters though; Hamels, Price, Dickey all off to terrible starts, dickey was taken for 5 in the first inning! And Cain was touched up for 9 today against the cardinals, hit after hit I had to start the stream again to make sure I wasnt dreaming.. Might start tailing these guys for the 1st win (although dont want to see a repeat of Cliff Lee's 2012 start!)Comment -

There are 3 possible sweeps today but the interleague series has no future play and also the NYY/CLE series had a rainout yesterday but they were playing a 4 game series so at least 3 games will be played. Not sure how Morrison will handle this but I will post it as a play if the Yanks win today. I'll get the rpi numbers up tomorrow for the first system play. It will be unofficial. I did get an email from JM saying we had a play coming up. I'll post it.

P.S. If any of you are considering purchasing the "champselections" we would appreciate it if you would post the plays in here. I'm sure points will be given. I bought it a couple of years ago and got killed with his picks. Lost a ton. He says he has turned it around but I don't really trust the results he posts because we all know how he scores his systems.Comment -
hagball52 why tomorrow pick will be unofficial ? RPI is smaller than 0.15 and colorado isn't in first 2 with RPI.Comment -
First off you got your decimal point in the wrong place. It should be .015. Secondly the difference is Colorado's rpi is .460 and San Diego's is .383. The difference is .077 which makes it unqualified for an official play. Now Morrison may decide to send it out as official because he's done that in the past. We'll just wait and see what happens tomorrow but one thing for sure is that it will be unofficial in this post.Comment -

Notes: There were a couple sweeps yesterday and a rain out. The sweep is posted above in the upcoming plays (LAA/OAK). The other sweep had no future play and the rain out negated the third possible sweep but we do need to monitor the make up games for the NYY/CLE series. Now onto today's play. The line has bounced back and forth on this game so if you find SDG as the favorite you will have to take them on the alternate run line unless they go above -115 but I doubt that will happen. Personally I never bet the alternate run line but if you wish to play by the system rules then its your choice. Already got JM's email calling it an unofficial play. I'll post it.

i find it also stupid that he sends picks with none qualified games. don't know what he means with tracking purposes. doesn't make sense because if it would bring more profit without the rpi filter he had mentioned it surely. i can tell you i have lost 200$ with his nba picks of that charlotte lost serie in this season. to that time i didn't know the filter exactly. if he had filtered the game out i wouldn't have lost 200$. after that i dont care anymore what jm send out i first check and then bet!

Nice to see this thread up and running. After asking about other systems in stifler's thread i began to do my search for other good baseball systems. After last season I decided I might not play this system any more, but will keep my eye on it and maybe just do some handicapping on certain plays with the labby.

I'm just doing a hybrid chase. I explained the way I was going to approach this year in the notes in post #54. I'm definitely considering a labby on all 3 JM NBA versions next season. I need to finish up my results but I think that that would be a less stressful and profitable way to deal with the NBA systems.
I'm doing this year all the same unit amounts. Check the notes in post #54. I've already started with the SDG series.

edit.. LAA amazing comeback. Hopefully this system cashes their C bet as other systems cashed their C bet on LAA tonight.
Also hag any thoughts or ideas about your o/u system in terms of what you are testing? I did some personal capping today and started off great going 5-0, but day is currently 6-5 with one bet on Texas pending. I noticed my weakness today was the o/u since I went 6-2 picking winners on the ML; and o/u went 1-3. I am going to stay away from o/u with my personal capping in hopes of you coming up with something good.Comment -

Notes: Just my luck the first system play goes to a (C) bet. Oh well hopefully they can cash a ticket today and being a V2 play helps. Keep in mind that Morrison does not use the V2 on his unofficial plays but we do post it for tracking purposes. There are 7 possible sweeps today with 6 having future plays. So far all of the interleague games this season have only been single series with no future match ups. That will leave us with fewer plays this season because of that as sweeps happen.
