Ya it was rough. Announcers called it; "blanco only in the lineup because of his baserunning," "scutaro will take pitches to steal a base." and then the typical scutaro bloop. Oh well.

Detroit finally gets a guy across with a double by Torii and then a Miggy single. 6 baserunners through three innings for the tigers; just wait until summer rolls around and they're -200 every home game. This team has the ability to crush the ball 1-9 every single day.

Can't figure out why Mark Derosa is still in the league, let alone on the Jays. Isn't that team old enough with the rest of the roster? Bring in some young guy who is just as awful as DeRo and at least bring some life into the clubhouse

He is atrocious. Batting what, .200? Awful. It's amazing to me how much $$$ the Angels and Jays spent, yet how many holes they still have on their roster.

Throw was going to bounce to miggy, give him a good hop, but it hit Laroche's up hand on his slide and bounced away into the stands. Nothing Torii did wrong, just pure chance that it hit him.

Yes, I orginally could see liking both...Like the last time Kershaw pitched vs the Giants. I liked Kershaw FF, but Giants for the game.

Pissed that i didn't play Cubs FF when it was +125 or better this morning. debating adding it but not crazy about it with Cubs facing a lefty (though i think Detwiler is vulnerable).

On Rats/Mets over. first play that I booked today and thought about making it 2u play, but decided against given Mets' problems with lefties (though they have solid history vs Wandy).

Passed entirely on Phils/Dbacks but looking forward to watching Cloyd pitch. I read some stuff about him today from guys trying to get a handle on that game and was intrigued.

Agreed on the cubs early line. I saw the ML was +135 early this morning; thought there was value there but now i'm not so sure. FWIW, Rizzo has been lights out against LHP this year with 1.08 OPS so far. Sure it's only 50 plate appearances, but if he can be even decent against lefties, that'll be a huge boon to the cubs offense. Starlin, sori and Hairston are all above avg hitters vs lefties and rizzo being decent would make the cubs 1-5 at least someone decent. Bottom of the order will pretty much always suck, but they're not as awful as one would imagine.

Assuming they figure out their bullpen s(h)ituation, they should be able to scrape together 75ish wins. WRT betting, It wouldn't shock me if they finish the season something like .500 in FF situations.
