Going with the Cubs FF here, Jackson has pitched better than his standard numbers suggest. Just a half unit ($225). If I could get under 8 like some of the rec books have I would pull the trigger. My local has 7.5.

I can't think of any logical reason why players would suck after 1 month and then revert to their normal selves a month after that, but who knows. Maybe there's an adjustment period for players/they start to wear down since they probably play every day early in the season. I'll look to see if i can find any evidence to back this up

edit: does anyone have a retrosheet database they're willing to share? I'm too lazy to get all these files from retrosheet

I think it might have something to do with the dynamics of the game changing when the weather starts to warm up. Whether we know it or not, adjustments are made and everyone starts to show things in 75 degree weather that they weren't -- good or bad -- when it was 40.

I have nothing useful on this game except pinny is leaning KC's TTu4.5 as they're posting a 4 -108/-108. Bullpens look fine, ump is slight under, slight wind blowing in, low 60s. Park factors to both LH and RH hitters is 1.03.

Line seems like LAA has to be the play and pinny is leaning TT under. I would play LAA with this knowledge, but prefer KC's under
