The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to the Apex Centre in Las Vegas for another eventful night of mixed martial arts. Let's waste no time because the fight odds are now available for us to delve into some parlay betting picks for UFC in Vegas 37 - headlined by light heavyweight contenders Anthony Smith and Ryan Spann, competing live on ESPN this weekend.

Ryan Spann vs. Anthony Smith

UFC Light Heavyweight Bout

Saturday, September 18, 2021 - 11:05 PM ET at the Apex Centre

The Fighters

The UFC's light heavyweight division will headline this weekend's Fight Night with Anthony Smith and Ryan Spann taking centre stage.

Anthony Smith (35-16-0) has fought the who's who of the UFCs light heavyweight and middleweight divisions, and he'll be looking for his plethora of experience to assist him in defeating the lesser-seasoned Ryan Spann on Saturday evening.

A diverse skill set and robust durability should aid the bookmaker's favourite, but he'll want to be sharp when entering the pocket with a heavy-hitting opponent in front of him.

Ryan Spann (13-2-0) doesn't own a stretched experience like Smith, but he's already accomplished a 5-1 winning record since joining the UFC in 2018. In addition, he's defeated some well-experienced opposition in Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Sam Alvey, and Mischa Cirkunov.

UFC Parlay Pick

The matchup presents a worrying set of variables on behalf of both men, which is why selecting a side for this week's parlay isn't my approach.

The available UFC odds with Sportsbook Review are providing some significant value within the totals market. I suspect this contest won't involve a judges' opinion to dictate the winner.

JP Buys vs. Montel Jackson

UFC Welterweight Bout

Saturday, September 18, 2021 - 11:05 PM ET at the Apex Centre

The Fighters

Montel Jackson (10-2-0) was fortunate to receive a replacement opponent when his original scheduled contest with Danaa Batgerel was cancelled. The current price suggests that JP Buys isn't the greatest match for Jackson, with his odds becoming more juiced as the days go on.

JP Buys (9-3-0) has taken a tough matchup on short notice, credit where credit is due, but he's facing an extremely tough fighter in Jackson who's evidently a level above Buys.

UFC Fight Prediction

I don't need to tell you that Jackson should dominate this weekend. JP Buys owns a wrestling-heavy offense that won't fare well against the UFC experience Jackson has already garnered.

Buys will struggle to hold Jackson down and deal with his scrambles, and on the feet, I envision Jackson walking him down and finishing the fight via TKO.

Erin Blanchfield vs. Sarah Alpar

UFC Bantamweight Bout

Saturday, September 18, 2021 - 11:05 PM ET at the Apex Centre

As we're chasing heavy juice this weekend, I'll be adding an extra addition to our typical two-leg parlay with a third play on Erin Blanchfield. This will bring our UFC odds to an even price, and I consider Erin Blanchfield the perfect choice.

Alpar didn't look UFC-ready versus Jessica-Rose Clark; without a successful wrestling gameplan, she wilts under the pressure of strikes. Blanchfield is the more incredible martial artist in all areas, it's as simple as that.
