Spain vs. England Odds, Picks & Predictions: Euro 2024 Final

It all comes down to one match as we offer our Euro 2024 final predictions and best bets for Sunday's Spain vs. England.

"The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly," starring Clint Eastwood, was released in 1966, the same year England won their only major trophy. Fittingly, those three adjectives perfectly embody the Three Lions' Euro 2024 adventure as they get set for their first final on foreign soil.

England saved the "good" for the Netherlands in the semifinal, easily playing their best football of the tournament. The footy gods rewarded them with an Ollie Watkins show-stopping, last-gasp winner.

Gareth Southgate's side must now beat the tournament's in-form team to make history and win their first European Championship as we profile our Spain vs. England prediction.

Spain, the only team to win every match, have trailed for only 12 minutes in six contests, highlighting their staggering dominance throughout.

Unsurprisingly, they are the Euro 2024 odds favorites across our best sports betting sites entering Sunday's final, which kicks off at 3 p.m. ET from Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany (Fox Sports).

It will be the first time England are underdogs in the tournament.

Spain vs. England score prediction

Spain 1 - England 1

Spain and England have not kept a clean sheet in the knockout phase.

Spain have scored 13 goals overall, four of which against Georgia, while England's attack was immeasurably more dangerous against Holland in the semifinal. A match of this magnitude naturally and ordinarily tends to remain cagey, but I feel there's too much talent on display for a scoreless stalemate.

England have shown character and resilience in each knockout match, overturning a one-goal deficit against Slovakia, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.

They'll remain calm and poised if Spain gets the early advantage, a vitally important intangible they've developed thanks to deep runs at recent major tournaments.

Spain have scored in the last nine, including at least two in each knockout match. They were last shut out in a meaningless friendly against Colombia in March.

bet365 consistently offers the best price on the score prediction market. The +500 odds will pay a profit of $50 if the match ends 1-1 after 90 minutes. I think the two squads will also be squared up at halftime, which I break down in my Spain vs. England parlay.

Both teams scoring is also highlighted in our Spain vs. England player props.

Spain vs. England anytime goal scorer prediction

Harry Kane, England

Wouldn't be something if Harry Kane, who hasn't won a team trophy in almost 15 years as a pro, scores in the Euro final to propel his team and country to a famous and historic victory?

While it sounds fantastical, even whimsical, Kane has worked tirelessly for this moment. If he were to win only one team trophy in his career, an unlikely scenario if he remains at Bayern Munich, this or the World Cup would be the ones he'd earmark.

And despite not being at his best, Kane represents England's most likely goal scorer. He struck a fierce and wonderfully placed penalty in the semifinal, his third goal of the tournament, half of England's total offensive output.

The top goal-scorer odds have Kane as the second favorite to win the Golden Boot. England's captain and talisman has netted eight times in the last nine knockout matches, an inordinately prolific rate in the most meaningful matches.

Here's his chance to not only exorcise his non-trophy demons but to be forever remembered as the goal-scoring leader who accomplished what no other English captain has, winning a European Championship while scoring in the final.

Spain vs. England best bet

England to win Euro 2024

Playing as the underdog is a novel feeling for the Three Lions, but I think it will suit them.

While the pressure on England will always be crippling, Southgate's side may play more freely and confidently, devoid of the sometimes-shackling favorites tag.

Both teams are bursting at the seams with individual match winners, with at least a handful of players on either side who can deal a decisive blow faster than it takes to like an Instagram post.

England are elite enough to beat any team in a one-off contest, but it will take their unerring best to upend a Spanish team that is on a 14-match winning streak in competitive matches.

England's play has improved significantly since Southgate moved to a back three at the start of the Switzerland match. He might start Luke Shaw, the team's only left-footed left-back, to deal with the exuberance and skill of Lamine Yamal, whose astonishing long-range leveler against France will forever be regarded as one of the all-time greatest European Championship goals.

That scenario should concern Southgate, particularly as Shaw has only appeared off the bench since recovering from a hamstring injury that prevented him from playing for almost five months.

That's England's most concerning area of the pitch. If they can nullify or at least mitigate Yamal's threat, I feel confident they can end their 58-year silverware drought. But it will probably take an extra 30 minutes and possibly penalties to do so.
